Motel 6 Lansing, IL - Chicago South - Motel in Lansing - 2151 Bernice Rd, USA

Love Ms Sharon and the housekeeper that works the 1st floor. Never got her name but they were very helpful and always respectful The Mexican lady that comes in at 3 is not it. We left our number with front desk in case our kids(dogs) Pooh and Shiesty got loose. July 3rd they got out and she called the police and told the officers they were aggressive and attacking ppl. Lansing police collared my dog from each side with yard poles. Shiesty gave up, laid down, and submitted and the police decided to shoot him anyways. She never once tried to call us, no call to animal control, or the humane society. They justed decided to shoot him because he was pitbull. They claim he was aggressive when I know better. We didn't bring him up to be vicious. They shoot him in the head and dragged him behind the garbage like he was trash. Then she told the owner that water was thrown in her face. Shiesty was killed, Pooh was taken to the police station and then they told us we had to leave. She doesn't do nothing but sit up in that chair all day. She won't help with nothing and she's an alcoholic. Let me include the last stay I had here, after paying for my room the Mexican lady used her key to open my door to tell me I didn't pay. Had to remind her I did and she had put my payment towards somebody else's room. This situation with my son could've be handled a lot better, from the Mexican lady and LANSING POLICE!!!!!!!

The hospitality was great, Sharon, and the housekeeping staff were very nice.

This Motel is a decent spot to spend a weekend it's just minor things that are irritating about its presentation it would be 5 stars if they change the landscaping on the outside, put down new hallway carpet, fixed the back door, change the drapes in the rooms, and remodeled the front office area but it just seem like they will never have that epiphany

It was ok I don't know if the suite should be called a suite it was basic to me I will not go off of the photos again nice service to me no problems also great location near by alot of stores and things

Positive: The location was close to some stores and restaurants. Negative: There was no hot water when we first arrived. We were told that it would be fixed shortly but 7 HOURS later when we got back to the room it still wasn't any hot water. The halls weren't very clean and the other residents were disturbing.

Rooms were very clean and there was a wonderful robust scent in the hallway that made me feel right at home

This is the 2nd worst place I've stayed in my lifetime of staying at hotels/motels and if I had a option at the time I surely would've taken it. First off the bed had one thin cigarette hole filled blanket. When I went to ask why there wasnt an authentic motel 6 blanket and also retrieve another blanket, the female receptionist was extremely reluctant to give me one.But she finally gave me another prison blanket after I asked 4/5 times. The rooms' walls were filthy, holes in walls, and then smell of smoke in a non-smoking room. The bathroom was also a mess...toilet and wall. Oh and then television had no cable right... And then 8 channels they had only 6 worked! I took pics and videos of everything. I call to be compensated and they offer 10%of the outrageous prices they want for those deplorable rooms. I wouldn't recommend a bed bug to stay at this place tho I am going to tell every able body person I know and cross. You satisfy your guests. Horrible out of town experience. Grade F-. Fyi I dont need any apology i need to be compensated!!!

No complaints at all .... the hospitality was amazing
