Do not stay here unless you’re ok with a dirty room and brown water to shower in. The rooms appeared to be renovated recently but they did a bad job at it. You only get 1 towels and no shampoo or conditioner, the white sheets were brown and stained. I understand this is a budget hotel but they don’t even provide you with the basics. People were smoking crack in the parking lot. They charge a $50 deposit on your card. I still have not received the deposit back. I have stayed in several motel 6’s this is by far the worst: Edit: It is now 2 weeks after my stay, I still have not received my deposit for 2 rooms $100. I contacted the hotel twice and they said they released it back to my card without even asking who I was. Called my bank and they said it was not released and the charge went through. This is a very shady place. This is my first google review I have ever made. That should say something about this place.

Room is good newly renovated comfortable bed safe and secure and friendly staff helping a lot always smile faces and good environment around the hotel i will recommend my friends and family to stay over here all the time. General manager always helping is out for anything we need. Family environment at the front desk.

If I could give a negative 5-star review, I would, so I'm going to even though it gives you up to 5 stars. While the room was clean, we were under supplied with towels. We had to beg for towels, it seemed like we were pulling teeth just to get towels. There were two people in the room and one towel for showers. When we called to ask for more towels It was almost as I said, like pulling teeth. The towels were stained. Yes, they had been washed, but they had been stained. We stayed 2 nights, and the room was not serviced at all. It is illegal to charge pet fees for service animals, and Motel 6 has a free pet policy that, yet my wife was forced to give a $50 pet deposit. We got it back, but it's still illegal to do so, and also against Motel 6 policy. Needless to say, I will not recommend this Motel 6 facility to anybody until they change management.

Positive: It was available and affordable. The check-in staff was very accommodating and friendly. Negative: I do not like outside entrance structures.The booking agencies should show a picture of the outside of the structure so I can avoid the ones I do not feel secure in. The security latch broke. There were no linens so I couldn't shower.

Ok they are liars for sure. I was charged a $20 dollar pet fee by the lady from India for my little 10 lb. dog. I was charged a up front deposit fee. Which I did get back. The room wasn't really that bad. I never saw any roaches or bugs, so that was good. The lady who I just mentioned was very un-friendly but and didn't answer my questions about their dishonest very kindly. The rest of the staff was OK. Got in the shower realized I had zero towels. So I air dried and used an old shirt to wipe the floor. Went to the office and the evening ladies were friendly and gave me some towels. So that's it. They should say there is a 20 dollar pet fee and upfront deposit charge, which you behave you will hopefully get back. I did.

Just needed a quick stop for rest. Checked in at 1:00 am and left at 7:00 am. They were more concerned with charging me a $50 security deposit. I now know why. I never got it back. I saw the poor reviews before staying so can’t say I was not warned. The poor reviews are legit. Seldom do reviews but the principle and shadiness around the security deposit is just wrong.

I experienced a VERY BAD and TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE situation on August 1,2024 at Motel 6 at 139 Frontage Road in Lafayette, Indiana.||I had a confirmed reservation through Booking.com for $58.51 for that night. However, I was told by reception when I arrived that they couldn't locate my reservation. They offered me the same room for $110 which I refused. Then I was offered a reservation for $79 which supposedly included a manager’s discount. That was also not acceptable to me. I was delayed for over 3 hours trying to sort out what was Motel 6’s problem. I eventually made a reservation at a nearby property and left.||During the 3 hour wait, another customer arrived with the exact same issue. Then a third person who had booked through Priceline.com also had the exact same issue. It was very obvious at that point that the problem was squarely a Motel 6 problem, but they had earlier pointed the finger incorrectly at Booking.com.||It is fairly obvious that the Motel 6 location didn’t want to honor that $58.51 reservation so that they could rent out the room at a higher rate. When I phoned Booking.com and put the Motel 6 receptionist on the phone with them, Motel 6 only told them to cancel my reservation instead of agreeing to honor it. Subsequently, Motel 6 told me that if I left and the reservation somehow showed up in their system that evening that I would be charged fully for not showing up. Note that I made the reservation on June 15 for the August 1 stay. Does it really take 45 days for a reservation to appear in the system?||The Motel 6 at 139 Frontage Road is clearly trying to scam customers into paying a higher rate than guaranteed once they arrive at the property. Accordingly, it’s best to totally avoid the location.

Positive: My deposit was not given back to me because of dirty towels. How does that make any sense, any clear common sense. That¿s what towels are for is to get dirty and dry things. The worst hotel experience ever & the staff was completely rude. Negative: "" Negative: ""
