So I went to La Crosse for my niece's bridal shower. The lobby smells like marijuana. I've stayed here before and it seems like it's getting worse than the last. The carpet on the stairs and hallway is super gross. It kind of sticks to your shoes. The room was alright. Until I was halfway through my shower I saw splats vomit of dried up. I got out of the shower as fast as I could. When I checked out I told the receptionist and my room#215. She apologized and started talking about something else. She just wrote a note to tell housekeeping. When I first stayed there about 7 years ago it was so nice and there were no smells. And the carpet was clean. As time went by it started to get worse. And I was homeless for 8 months in 2017. I stayed there till Easter so I could celebrate it with my daughter. The next day I checked in to the Salvation army. So you know the smell of some homeless people. You never forget that smell. I took showers everyday so I didn't have that smell on me or it coming from me.At this visit there weren't any. I will not be staying here again.
Work booked here for my family to stay while I was training for work in town. No fridge, no microwave with a 2 year old and a 1 year old. For 5 days.....50 dollar cash deposit? Seems weird, no where I ever stayed takes cash, on top of that, there is a sign in the lobby that explains that motel 6 charges a 25 dollar deposit, or a 100 dollar deposit. Not sure where the 50 came from. The one positive was that our room was cleaned, however the tub had no drain plug so it was a pain to give the kids a bath. And there were obvious burn holes in our comforter from smokers. If I was staying alone for 1 night I would have no problem. But it was abysmal for the family.
Hallways looked like they hadn't been vacuumed in months. There was a huge gap under our room door that we had to shove pillows under so our dog couldn't get out. There were dead bugs on the carpet and hairs not only in the tub but on the supposedly clean towels. Furniture is seriously in need of an upgrade. There were also no blankets just a series of thick sheets that I didn't feel comfortable getting under. The front lobby was in disarray and there was no place to sit while waiting for other guests to be checked in. The breakfast area was not clean and in the morning the coffee was cold and there were no cups put out for guests. We booked this room for it's location and low price but we're instantly put off by it's appearance. It is obvious that the photos on booking sites are either of a different motel 6 or when this one was new, not at all representing the actual conditions. I have stayed at some bad hotels in my life, but this one was the worst.
Way way way overpriced. Very dirty, very bad mattress worst night sleep I have ever had. Over all hotel was dingy with an unpleasant smell. Won't be back definitely won't recommend. On the positive the front desk ladies were very kind and courteous.
The lady at the front desk was very friendly and had very good customer service! But the room was terrible! I went in the bathroom and the tub and shower curtain were disgusting!! No one could take a shower ! Also there’s no elevator!! There’s a lot of steps to next level! I didn’t stay!! And won’t come back!! Just waiting for refund!
Moved here due to a financial situation. It was only supposed to be for one month. However,, free Wi-Fi, free Internet, free cable. We are looking for a place. The staff are awesome as well as the owners. Very clean. It's now been 10 months. No hurry to leave .
Last minute and needed a room. Will sleep in our vehicle or drive home next time we are in the area. They apparently don't have maids, or maids that know how to clean.
I wouldnt go back there at all. Bad workers didn't want to refund anything had to check out early then thought due to a family emergency and they didn't even give us all the money back for the second night. Rooms r small and nasty. To high prices for that kind of room
