Motel 6 Kalamazoo, MI - Motel in Kalamazoo - 3704 Vanrick Dr, USA

The first three nights two buses full of people were staying in the two rooms next to me. The sheets nor towels were clean and the room smelled like they just vacated sweaty men from the room. While there one man posted outside of my room and refused to leave. Another threatened me and someone seeking drugs knocked on my door at 2 am. The general manager arrived to the property on day 4.At which time I suddenly got clean sheets.The bus loads of people were nowhere to be found and the property that was previously full of trash and appeared as though people were using the sidewalks to live on , we're gotten rid of. If I had arrived on the day that the general manager Was there my rating might be higher?However , when the general manager was not on property The experience on the property was completely different. One of the men who threatened me was out in the parking lot banging and making a lot of noise and screaming From ten p m until 4 am. If there Was any staff on duty They did nothing about it. I left the hotel early the morning after someone came to my door asking for drugs. The location is great because it is close to a lot of things.However i'm not convinced that it's managed well when the general manager for motel six is not on staff.

Worst hotel experience I've ever had. The room has strange smells, with two flies' companion, which I couldn't bear with. Simplest facilities. The desk people is nice but the boss is unreasonable. It took almost three hours to make them agree to cancel the reservation, but still charge me $10 for nothing .

Great location if you're doing something at the fairgrounds, but the facility leaves much to be desired. The first room I was put in had a roach infestation and smelled like someonehad been smoking in it fairly recently. The front desk tried to convinced me to stay in it for the first night I had reserved. The second room had obvious water damage to the floors and I was never able to get hot water for a shower. I checked out after 1 night and was charged for my full reservation.

My room, 136, was absolutely terrible, filthy and uncomfortable. Beds were old, sheets had cigarette burns. Dirt all over the walls!! The floors were coming apart at the seams. Toilet seat was broken and the shower was so dirty, I had to wear my socks. The whole room needed painting! Not happy at all with my stay!!!

The bed had stains on it and hairs all over the walls and pillows. It smells like sh*t in the rooms and the rooms have flees and bed bugs from the one night I had to stay there after a tornado ripped through my trailer park. We also had to go ask for towels before finding out the hot water in our room didn’t turn on and we didn’t even have a remote for our tv in the room.

Do not book here . we booked for concert and checked in, look at room and left! garbage , un clean rooms sheets were stained brown. floor was mess. can't believe anyone other then a crack head or hooker would stay here. absolute garbage!!! its cheap for a reason beware !!!!!

Not good compared to most other Motel 6s I've stayed at. It's rather old and run down. I stayed for 3 nights in room 135. The floor was dirty, the sink stopper didn't work, the blower fan high setting didn't work, and the window curtain was old and not completely attached to its rod. There was also difficulty getting hot water at the sink. Room service was minimal and incomplete. On the outside, trash build-up was an issue.

Horrible place to be, room was never cleaned, blood on the walls, holes in the walls, uneven floors. Even burn marks on the sheets and bathroom floor. Would like my money back
