Motel 6 Joliet, IL - I-80 - Motel in Joliet - 1850 McDonough St, USA

I travel across the country a couple times a year and I usually stay at Motel 6 because I’m a retiree and I don’t have a lot of money. Locations are always easy on easy off the freeways and more importantly the beds are fairly comfortable not perfect but pretty damn good. My room was very clean And more importantly, no bedbugs, no roaches not even any spiders. Yes, there are questionable people beside you You leave them alone they will leave you alone Lots of security cameras and I’m gonna tell you I stayed at a Hilton recently and I pretty much have nothing good to say about that stay … they had to changed my room twice and it was just awful. So if you get a room and there’s a problem, you tell them … they’ll change your room. people bring in roaches bugs, all kinds of things Those things can be dealt with if Management is made aware of it Oh, and I love my fridge. It’s always a decent bar size and clean. It’s not the tiny little box like my room at the Hilton. There is just me so the king bed was huge and there was lots of space to move about. I have mobility issues, so this is important for me

Roaches, stinks of cigarettes. I was shown a room. I said i can't stay here, there are roaches everywhere. I was shown another room. It had less roaches. Then another room with the same account of roaches. Def don't go here. The super 8 next door was fine, no issues. I ended up staying there to avoid the grossness

It was absolutely awful! Such a strong chemical smell it was nearly unbearable. We would have left if we hadn't driven so long that day with a cat. It is pet friendly. The bathroom walls and ceiling had black mold, the floors were sticky, no carpet. The beds looked like someone had layed down on them earlier. The sheets had blood stains. The entire experience was disgusting.

Very nice place to stay. The location is great. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The rooms are absolutely spotless!! Super comfortable and clean beds. Plus a great price. Will definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!!!

We had a good stay in this Motel. Location is very easy to reach, walkable to Sams Club. Very affordable and very neat. Staff were very kind , helped us very well. when asked for extra blankets.. and house keeping was good.. Our check in and Checkout process was quite smooth. Very affordable and highly recommend this motel..

Had a great stay. The rooms are incredibly clean and spacious. Great staff. Everything for a great price. Will definitely be coming back.

Never had to complain before but this 1 week has been ridiculous never checked on once or asked if I needed new towels or linen! Alot of little nicks the bathroom towel hanger is broke no soap upon arrival, 1 towel for 2 ppl! Bathroom door was not even really connected as it was hanging loose! Also the noise was ridiculous as neighbors and early renovations were being done! Will not be returning horrible service come on people get this together! No coffee even? Why do I spend 500 then? For cheap dirty rooms? No respect for guests at all

This motel was slightly further from Interstate 80. Rooms were ok parking outside your door was nice as we were driving to another destination and spending the night. Showers weak water pressure linens were sparse. BEDS are firm here. TV is small. Very noisey by I 80 highway.
