Motel 6 Hattiesburg, MS - Motel in Hattiesburg - 6508 US 49, USA

I stayed here for 4 nights with my dog as I was here for a dog show. There is NOWHERE to properly walk dogs. My BIGGEST concern is the fact that I was bitten while I was there and assumed maybe it was mosquitos...... WRONG! Thank you SO much for the bed bug infestation that is now IN MY HOUSE where I was just quoted over $1000 that I DO NOT HAVE to treat my house! This is the second Motel 6 I have stayed at this year that has had bed bugs! I refuse to ever stay at another Motel 6 in the future. My husband and I are bitten all over, extremely itchy, and can't sleep! I'm appalled.....

I give this place 3.5. For last minute pet friendly place it was good. But for a non smoking room the smell was very potent, very uncomfortable especially due to having an infant. A lot of high traffic late at night with noises but that’s to expect at a motel. Definitely didn’t like the unwelcome guests in our room. ROACHES! Little & big.

I haven't stayed @ motel 6 in a long time but I knew they accepted pets without a outrageous price per pet so I gave them a try. Big mistake. Very loud people outside, slamming of doors @10:00 pm I didn't feel safe at all. Shady looking people around. The only thing good about the stay was the friendly lady at check in. The room wasn't that clean and the bed sheets had stains and black long hairs on it. After I wiped down everything with Clorox wipes it was sanitized to my satisfaction. Only one bath towel, not acceptable. I won't be back to this location and I don't recommend to any female traveling solo. Very dirty sheets. Disgusting trash motel that needs to be shut down.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!! Also if they do sucker you just get in touch with your bank and file a dispute. I did and I also know that the cops and this motel are so crooked and they love taking money from people just passing through and they know what’s going on and the city allows it. I truly feel so sorry for the nasty owner and his useless and horrible staff he’s hired. Most horrific experience of my life and I will be calling the health department and will continue to do so. This place needs to be closed and light a match. Absolute rubbish. HOW DARE YOU THINK YOU CAN SPEAK TO ANYONE THE WAY THIS “owner” SPOKE TO ME. MUSTVE UPSET YOU WHEN I TOLD YOU I WILL GET MY MONEY BACK WITHOUT YOUR HELP AND I DID. LOL not everyone is an idiot and I’m sure you go through this daily. It sucks to be a horrible franchise owner especially one who is clearly very in need of money. In this economy. You’re clearly not making much if anything at all. The drug addicts that permanently live there and the random people you steal from I guess keeps your lights on.

Positive: Location Negative: The sheets and pillowcase were dirty. I had to go to the office after 11pm to get clean sheets and put them on myself. They never came to get the dirty sheets. Didn't clean properly.

1st night, the people in the room next door, they had 2 dogs, 1 cat and a bird. The people talked almost all night long. The dogs barked at everything. Then an ambulance showed up for someone in the room. The next day I asked if the people next to us were leaving, we were told yes. They didn't leave. We asked to be moved. That following night, the people near us were singing and laughing and drinking in the parking lot in front of our room and by their room. We called the front desk to have them to tell them to turn down the music. They did a bit but they were still singing and partying. The next morning we canceled the rest of our reservation and went to a better hotel.

Let me start by saying this . The GM was so kind!!! After Many many attempts at finding a place to just stop and rest, being told No ya can't have your dog, or sure, but ya can't get in the room til 3pm... It was 1230pm.. I was DONE, next to tears, pulled into the Motel 6 as my literal last stop.. I had to get off the road!! This GM was so KIND.. he truly helped me more than he knows!! I'm sure a few tears flowed.. but he didn't seem to mind.. he just kept reassuring me that I was at the right place! He was so right! The room was a King bedroom, has a fridge, microwave, TV and bathroom. Towels and washcloths. The room was clean, the shower was HOT and pressure was wonderful! We ordered Chinese food from Pei Wei Express. It was delicious! Recommend the bourbon chicken! Once we were showered, belly full and able to relax.... We were OUT! The bed for comfy too! There are no coffee makers in the room and that is ok bc they have it at the office in the morning 6am to 10am. We didn't even hear any neighbors..it was so quiet there! We did feed n water a stray cat that was yelling hahahahha. While I will be not back to this place.. or this state... I will forever remember the kindness shown to me .. not bc he was doing his job of renting a room.. but bc he was compassionate and caring! Keep that quality young man!! It will take you far in life!

Not bad. Room clean with clean linen and towels. No hookers hanging out in the parking lot. Good security and adequate parking. Nice Motel 6
