Motel 6 Greenville, SC - Motel in Greenville - 2015 Wade Hampton Blvd, USA

I absolutely could not. I did my usual inspection when I come into a hotel. First thing nothing was clean and room smelled like a 30 year old ash tray. Running cockroaches. Garbage in the cabinets. Fridge not cold nor freezer upon further inspection wasn't even plugged in. Giant mess behind fridge. Dirty walls. Left behind food in cabinets. Chipped paint walls. Messed up door framing. More cockroaches. Some dudes draws in the dresser drawers. Nasty microwave. Several random wet spots on the floors of unknown substance. Busted up table and so much more. Told my husband we were 100% not staying here. I started itching just seeing all of it. Anyone looking to bring home bugs with you or find the local drug dealer feel free to stop by but definitely not for me or my kids. Office staff was VERY NICE AND UNDERSTOOD hotel was NOT up to par. So 5 star for office staff but 0 for house keepers and owners.

Positive: Most of the workers in the office was nice and helpful. Negative: I feel even if a person stays for 2 weeks. housekeeping should still clean the rooms, check to see if towels and rags are needed. We had to go to the office everyday!!! To get clean supplies. It was roaches in the bathroom,Needs to be closed & remodeled

As soon as we drove into the parking lot, it felt like a drug/sex hotel with sketchy people standing around. Sign stating hotel isn’t responsible for car damage/theft, made me worry about my car overnight. Heard talking hours past 10pm with thin walls. Photo on website is false advertising/outdated, expecting new looking to disappointment. This is coming from someone that doesn’t need a fancy hotel, happy with a clean room & decent area. Our non-smoking room was so smoky, we started getting headaches; and had to switch rooms to only a little better. Every wall was dirty. Both stoves were broke. 1 door was punched & kicked on. 1 security door latch was broke. Found 2 roaches. Some of the cleaning was as simple as wiping the walls or cleaning the caked in dirt on the floor. I didn’t even feel comfy taking a shower here. Mattress was thin like a sofa bed. Just relieved to wake up to car intact & leave. This taught me a lesson to read reviews before booking based on hotel photos alone.

Yikes! Stay away stay away stay away…we chose not to stay after the outside was crazy and we had been through 2 rooms that were not clean or even close to passable. Go to Simpsonville which was close to the same price and refreshed! The front desk person was nice so she did what she could but the place was trash…Stayed in Motel 6 across the country over the past few weeks and by FAR the most horrible place!

I don’t even know where to begin with this review. I needed a place to stay for the night while driving back home. We had already been driving for 6 hours and wanted to get some sleep. We found this Motel 6 and decided to try it because it was extremely cheap and I figured for 1 night it wasn’t bad. Well the phrase “you get what you pay for” reigned true with this place. The woman at the front office was the ONLY decent thing about this place. The minute I exited my vehicle all the long stayers on the top floor immediately came out of their rooms onto the balcony and stared at me and my party like we weren’t supposed to be there. There was hardly any parking from all the run down vehicles that occupy all the spots outside of the first floor rooms, and when we finally got to a parking spot we noticed that the television was on in our room so we were scared to go in because we feared someone was already in there. My boyfriend went ahead to check out the room and I stood at the car to make sure everyone was safe. The second my boyfriend got to the door of the hotel room one of the occupants from the top floor ran down the steps towards my boyfriend and asked him if he wanted to buy drugs. I was absolutely appalled and quite scared. Once my boyfriend told this guy to leave we entered the room to scope it out and were greeted with roaches, the smell of smoke and grime that looked like it had never been cleaned. I took 2 steps into the room before I left and never went back! I asked the woman at the front for a refund and ended up finding a different hotel for a much higher price. It was well worth the extra cost. We were looking for a place to stay that was close to the “pretty place” chapel in the sky so please beware of this place if you are looking for somewhere to stay near there!

I travel a lot to concert and always stay at motel 6. They are cheap/ affordable always clean. Super simple but clean and always plenty. I’ve never had a bad experience with motel 6 until now. The Greenville sc motel 6 is DISCUSSING. I would never recommend it to anyone. I reserved a room 3 weeks before my stay like i normally do it was for two beds. When I got there they had gave my room to someone else and the only room they had left was one bed. The tv did not work our door did not lock the smoke alarm constantly made noise and was hanging from the ceiling there was bugs in the floor cigarette burns on the sheets and holes in the wall. This place needs to be shut down.

We checked in and the room was a complete mess. stuff left everywhere, bugs, no sheets on the bed, bed frames were crooked in the room, bathroom was disgusting with no toilet paper. The environment was not at all sanitary or comfortable. It was so bad we didn’t even stay. Left the moment we walked in the room and Cancelled our reservation without even caring about a refund. Do not stay here!!!

This place is extremely sketchy. There are people walking around outside in the middle of the night, no service (waiting nearly 10 minutes for help at the window while it reeked of Marijuana just outside the office), and when you do get help they are incompetent and require you to physically give them your phone. What a waste of money this was and I didn't even get to the room or a refund. This motel is trash and so is priceline.
