I reserved a room for Thursday through Tuesday night to fish a Junior BASS state tournament. The tournament ended on Saturday I had a gentlemen come from Georgia to fish Sunday through Tuesday and we were going to leave on Wednesday we got up Sunday morning to go fishing could not get my boat out of the parking slot because they allow the restaurant workers from next door park there. I asked them to have them move there vehicles to no avail cost me 300 bucks because I couldnt carry my client out. the room well it was a room 1 night out 5 both beds were made had to ask for towels every day. The door looked like it had been kicked open at some point in the past there was about a 1 gap from the handle down to the floor, We went out on Tuesday fished about 10 hours came back to a locked room went to the office they said I had just paid till Tuesday It was race weekend at Talladega my room was supposed to be 108 per night which is pretty expensive for a room with no coffee maker no breakfast ended up costing me 142 bucks a night the girl at the front desk was very rude and the manager was to big of a coward to come and talk with me face to face talked to me o the phone if thats what you would call the conversation we had no help at all folks if you can find anywhere else to stay when in Gadsden please do this is a pitiful excuse
The room was very clean. The bed, pillows and shower were fine. Lots of close restaurants. Had a small dog, free as usual. Nice to see other dog parents cleaned up well after their pets. Would stay again.
Decently priced. Clean, and comfortable. Mattress was very comfortable. Pillows weren't bad, but I always bring my own anyway just in case. A ton of restaurants within a 5 minute drive, both sit down service, and fast food, several within walking distance. Water pressure was so so, but water stayed hot a long time. One complaint, there was a visible dirty ring around the tub, everything else was clean though. There is a decent pool here, but be aware, no breakfast available. I didn't realize, but can't be mad cause it does actually state that in the description. I would've booked here anyway though even had I realized....|Overall, inside the room is pretty quiet. But outside the room, you can hear alot going on inside rooms. Neighbors had 2 young children....|It does sit on a main highway, which is very noisy outside, but again, you hear very little inside, making it easy to sleep. |On one side there is a large restaurant parking lot. About 3 in the morning, I was woken up, and kept hearing a loud boom noise. The restaurants food truck had arrived and was the culprit. But that probably doesn't happen more than once a week, maybe 2.
We saw very high ratings for this Red Roof Inn so took a chance on it. We very very disappointed. Our room was not very clean (hairs in the tub/shower). Cheaply and poorly painted and furnished. No coffee maker. No breakfast included. |We were traveling with a small dog so perhaps this was the reason but we older ladies were given a room next to the pool so could not park near the room.
The staff at this motel were most friendly, pleasant, and accommodating. We booked the room for 5 days when we evacuated Florida for Hurricane Irene. We were late arriving for check-in due to the horrific traffic. It was not a problem, our rooms were held for us. We had to extend our stay twice due to damage at home. This was not a problem, either. The microwave in our room would not work, and a brand new one was provided to us. The pet-friendly policy was great. The laundry facilities were an added bonus.
The bed was soft but we had 3 flat pillows on a king sized bed (four or five would've been good) The restroom was FILTHY it smelled like pee there was some stains in the shower/tub like as if someone was flinging dirt against it there was no shampoo or conditioner only one bar of soap. To sleep wake up and go was fine but to actually stay in this motel its awful
The visit to Alabama was terrific. However my stay at Motel 6 was about standard. I ask for non- smoking room. The toilet had a hard time when flushed. The door seemed hard to shut. There was cigarette burns in covering and pillow of both beds. The box springs were nasty. Not enough electrical outlets to use. Those few that were in room were occupied by stuff already in room. No small refrigerator or Kleenex. Neighbors were noisy. But the a/c unit worked great, bathroom water nozzle was outstanding, and plenty of hot water.
Red Roof please listen. I was so pleased when I saw that Red Roof had moved in here where the Motel 6 once was, and the guest ratings were great so I thought I would try it again. When I arrived there was a person sitting on the curb with bags, plastic bags...At the front desk I ask the gentleman if this person hangs out often and do they belong here, then proceeded to explain my experience on this property when it was a Motel 6, homeless people, pedophiles out on parole used it as a place to call home. It was a truly horrific experience with someone breaking my door lock to get in while I went to dinner shortly after I checked in. I left immediately and vowed to never go back....Brandon, the man at the front desk told me he didn't know who the person was outside but would take care of it. I got my key, went to my room and it was very nice,Clean, neat and I was very pleased. When I started unloading my car I noticed the door had previous damage to the lock and the bracket lock on the top didn't work at all. It was loose. I went to the office asked for another room and he obliged. I got the room next to it and the lock had similar damage. But it was not as bad as the other and the bracket lock worked. He came down to look. I showed him the damage to the door. He told me that it works, I said yes, but the door is damaged and it's weakened. It's not as safe as it should be. He repeated....But it works. I let it go. I was tired. The bed was comfy, the room was clean. I'm glad to see it's a Red Roof Inn now. However...I can't stay there until they fix their doors. It's just not acceptable that you do not repair the doors. If I had to choose between a hotel room I have to spend 15 minutes cleaning or a room that has a damaged, weakened door, I always travel with sanitizing wipes. Please Fix the doors Red Roof. You've made nice changes and updates with this property, but SAFETY FIRST.
Beautiful store packed with everything you can think of. Owners and staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and o so helpful. Anytime I'm in the area, I make sure to stop in with the intent to be a lookie-loo, but I always find something I absolutely can

Cothranâs made this beautiful cake for an anniversary occasion. The design with the fall colors, which was requested, was absolutely stunning. I highly recommend Cothranâs to anyone who is looking for delicious desserts with impeccable designsð
I have to say I am smitten with this place. The meat was cooked perfectly and very flavorful and juicy not dry. The lentil soup was awesome...the falafel was fluffy and perfect not dry. The garlic butter we were given with the meat was perfect. Forge
