The room was clean and everything functioned well except when I first got into bed I heard a big clunking noise on both beds. I liked how the room opened up to a green area for my dogs. Only one out of the four ice machines in the hotel worked, and I had to travel all over in order to find it. There is no coffee maker or microwave or shampoo in your rooms but that’s OK because the price was low at $65 including taxes, and Dogs are free up to two dogs which is great.

Guess what?! Dog that's what. Maybe I forgot to say no dog room. The room smelled like dog. I heard a dog barking next door. I heard kids in the middle of the night. I felt like most people just live here and I was one of the few visitors. However, room was clean and front desk service person was nice. Also good value. Internet was good.

I got a room here because it said there was a pool. And when I check in the pool is not open. You don't have a breakfast or coffee in the rooms. If I would have known this I would have went to Super 8 and saved $20 and had breakfast. After this stay I will never stay at a Motel 6 again

At first glance, this motel seems like just another place in the so-called "bad part of town." However, it is a real hidden gem. This motel provides great customer service, the manager and staff are very understanding, and as a video game enthusiast, I must say that being able to hook my console up to the TV--which has GREAT audio--is especially nice!! If youre homeless, trying to spend some time alone, or just need a place to stay, Motel 6 on 40 is the best bang for your buck!!

I had stayed for a few nights. The room by far was very, very cleaned. I was very impressed with how clean the room was. And far as the staff very, very friendly. Very nice, very Welcoming. I got a chance to also speak to the manager.Very nice woman very nice woman. I've stayed at a few hotels in Frederick County and honestly, they have one of the nicest staff in. Hallways were clean literally.Very clean very clean hotel

Most of the staff here are pretty friendly and the manager actually takes pride in trying to keep the hotel quiet clean and restful for overnight travelers and vacationers and all guests in between. The hotel is also pet friendly and it is very hard to find hotels that are not discriminatory towards cats.

Deloris at the front desk was so rude and demanding. Not the kind of attitude youd expect from the first person you interact with at this establishment. She was rude to a veteran before me and did not apply his discount for him and his wife, and then she carried over that same attitude to us. I think she needs to go, or have a job where she is not interacting with the customers. Almost made me book somewhere else to be honest. Rooms and other things were good, just watch out for the black woman wearing a Bonnet named, Deloris!!!!

Very nice stay. We had a problem with our room the air conditioning wasn't working properly we notified management and immediately gave us another room of equivalent. I had an amazing time.
