Motel 6 Fort Wayne, IN - Motel in Fort Wayne - 3003 Coliseum Blvd W, USA

Traveling across the country, so far, this was the worst hotel I'd stayed at. The rooms were poorly lit, not maintained, and the sheets and blankets were riddled with long hair from a human and many whiskers from animals. Clearly, it's not cleaned properly. I always check for bugs, and while there weren't any (thankfully), the mattress had stains of varying colors. The only good thing about this place was that we could bring our cats in with us. We used our own pillows and blankets because theirs were not clean. Would never stay again and I'd recommend only to come here if you can find no other place to take your pets. Some motel 6's are actually good, but this one is complete trash. The hallways of the hotel absolutely reek as well. A clear result of not keeping a clean building.

I was visiting someone who was staying here. I noticed the grounds are well kept. My friend's room was clean and appeared well maintained. At one point we were sitting outside and the owners were walking around which, I think is a good idea when residents are living here for short periods of time. My friend had positive things to say.

Check in was smooth, didn't have to fight over parking. There were several suspicions people in the parking lot and its located next to a strip club which I was not aware of before booking. The room was decent for the price. BUT After check-in , somehow or another a staff member at the hotel started using my credit card for food, door dash and online shopping!

Looked at another place before going to 6. It was nasty. Went to 6 and told the story and requested to see room before I pay any money. They took me right to it, and I ended up renting it for a week. Not ritzy Ritz, but good and clean for the working Man.

Rooms were updated and nice. Laminate flooring. Courteous overnight employee who was very accommodating.

Motel 6 is always welcoming. Friendly smiling staff- who are professionel most the time. I stayed a week and swapped my linens out for clean- when I went to change pillowcases there was bloodstains on one of the three pillows. I was disgusted + horrified. Also I had to switch rooms since in the first room I was able to hear dogs barking below me. And the first floor kind of smelled like dog. You will lose your mind if you reside here too long. I've only given the hotel three stars since it was quiet after I moved - plus free fast Wifi. Otherwise I would've only given one star.

The room was newly renovated and it looks nice. However, the smell of cleaning product was way way too strong! Not good for people with allergies. And as soon as I opened the door there was a candy wrap on the floor and popcorn near the bed. The floor clearly wasn't cleaned. There is complimentary coffee and a microwave in the coffee area.

Nice place but they charged us $30 for a sheet that we dropped a little lasagna on & our cat got scared & had a little bit of a mess. It would be fine when washed but they charged us $30 out of our $50 deposit which is outrageous. I could have went & bought a new sheet cheaper than that. Other than that, everything was great. Nice people, nice motel. It's just screams low class to charge a $50 deposit & go in the rooms as people check out & count towels, sheets, even hangers. If anything comes up missing or dirties the room, that's all included in the price of the room. We shouldn't have to pay extra unless something like the tv comes up missing or damaged.
