My son and I came to visit my boyfriend that was working in town, we had to rent a room here bc the hotel my bf was staying at was booked. The first night my son stayed he called and told me the toilet wasn't filling with water, maintenance came and "fixed" it. Came to pick him up that next morning, toilet had no water again. Told front desk, and the owner argued with me after my son had literally just tried to use the bathroom. Did move him to another room and was absolutely RUDE. The workers we're pleasant. The owner was not would NOT recommend this hotel as a last resort.

Normally I don't leave google reviews and I really don't like to complain about things, but this place really takes the cake. We stayed maybe a total of 10 hours at this hotel. Checked in early in the evening, left for dinner and family. Came back at night, slept there, woke up and checked out around 8am. The air conditioner didn't work the whole time we were in the room, so we drank a ton of water, and opened the window to try to keep cool. The room was extremely outdated, but that didn't bother me too much, we only needed the bed for the night. Even the little baby cockroaches that were in the bathroom didn't bother me too much. Or the absolutely filthy floors. We wore socks the entire time we were there and they were BLACK on the bottom. The stained towel I grabbed the next morning after my shower didn't bother me either. It just looked like someone had washed it along with something they shouldn't have. So I used it. It smelled clean, and I'm not one to complain. After all I only paid like $70 for the room, and a $50 deposit that nobody explains the purpose of at check in, and isn't stated online. But when it came time to get that deposit back? Oh no. They claim I caused property damage because the towel was stained, and apparently they had to throw multiple towels away? So because I was too tired to walk to the office at 8 in the morning after a long weekend and before an 11 hour drive, I lost my $50 deposit. I guess that's why they didn't explain it at check in. They wholly intend on just keeping it. I will not make that mistake again. And neither should you. Make sure you complain about the dirty floors, the broken AC, the cockroaches in the bathroom and the ONE clean but stained towel that you think is okay to still use, because they'll charge you for whatever they can find. Save your money, or pay a little extra and get into someplace thats actually clean. Because I just paid $130 for 10 hours at an absolutely DISGUSTING hotel.

I've always had good experiences w Motel6. I don't know what happened this time. But the service wasn't very good and my last stay was the second time someone had their tire/s slashed. The facility is usually very good though.

Hi, I stayed here overnight. It was scary at first because of location (checked in at 3pm.) I think its best to not assume the worst. Also, remember to check in or book asap, this will avoid limited options. Safe travels :)) Edit: Because I thought this was a good motel 6, I assumed the motel 6 in Las Cruces would be great... No, it wasn't.

My family and I have stayed here before for years and I truly honestly say it was like home improvement made everything was nice. I made reservations ahead or not never disappoint me. Front desk and employees Very very friendly. Of course, I see awesome DIVERSITY.

I needed a rest day after doing Quandary Peak and then Great Sand Dunes so I stayed here two nights. First, the bad: the pool is being repaired (I didn't ask how long it'll be since I didn't care), they'd left the a/c on full blast & the heat didn't work but opening the window did, there was a loud guest the second day, and there was a small, indeterminate bug smashed into the wall. It could have been a moth or a fly; in any case I didn't see any roaches or signs of them. With that out of the way, I'll put this in the "surprisingly OK" category, especially given the price.

People commenting on this are pansies. This place is clean, and the a/c is fantastic. The man who checked me in was very nice and helpful, and the "weird people" that hang around here are just not Caucasian. For the price, it's not bad at all.

I stayed there last week and I called ahead and made a reservation told them we needed connecting rooms. They told us there weren't any available. So I was like ok but we have to have the rooms right next to each other they said ok. Well we get there and go in to get the keys to our room. We were told that it was already paid for through our credit card. I said ok, they handed me the keys and I noticed the rooms were not next to each other. Not only were they not next to each other but they were in two different buildings. I said I was told they would be next to each other, I was told that they couldn't do that at the moment so I said I will just have to go to another motel, they said they couldn't refund my money so I had no choice but to stay. I had to go pick up my wife's cousin to come say in the room with my daughter. I said I would talk to management in the morning to see if could switch rooms. Came in the next morning and told them what happened. The lady at the front desk was awesome and told me she could trade me rooms for the second night and to come back in an hour and she would give me the keys Cuzz they still had to clean it. Came back in an hour and was told her Manager would let it happen so we couldn't. I will never stay here again. I've never ever had a problem with motel 6 until now it sucked. Walls are pretty thin I could hear the neighbors pretty clear. Beds were ok kids small but we small people so that wasn't much of a bother. Beds were noisy though. one move and the bed would squeak.
