Motel 6 Elkton, MD - Featured Reviews (1389)
Stayed in 4 other hotels on my drive up the coast from South Carolina, through Virginia Beach to Dover. None of which were any good. As I left Dover with my senior dog in 84 degree heat. My a/c went out. I quickly pulled in at 1pm. The kind man at the front desk got us into a cool room 2 hours before check-in!
Great people, great location all for a great price. Got to meet some other great pups.I recommend this for dog lovers as motels 6 doesn't surprise you with an extra charge at check-in. I had no signs that another dog had stayed in our room before.
I do suggest you take advantage of the huge grass and walk your pet a little further because, well, some people just don't pick up after their furry friends.
Hot water, cold a/c will extend a day or two and visit along our next adventure!
Lots of weird stains in the room. Huge one on tops of one side of the comforter on the bed. Both the front door and bathroom door were scraped up and one was written on. Toilet paper was shoved in the peephole so it was unusable. There was a smell in the room - a stale and sawdust kind of smell - that did not go away. The room is very minimal, no fridge or microwave or anything but they do give you an ice bucket. Lots of strange clicking noises, the bedframe creaked and even the TV remote wasn’t clean. You could tell by the bathroom sink and mirror it had not been cleaned well, and checking in with front staff was awkward. Because of location, it was an okay place to stay, but I’ve stayed at better places for cheaper. While I didn’t have any experience to make me feel unsafe, I felt uncomfortable the whole time I was there. I only stayed one night.
Was a good stay for almost a week, except I lost one of my cats here but she seems to be in a safe enough place in the woods with other cats that she likes. Probably couldn't take any more traveling anyway. If anyone reading this sees a brown striped cat, please let me know 😽 (her names are Tigger and Simba)
Good place to stay on i95 near Elkton Maryland. Rooms are good and hygiene. Very pleasant atmosphere around the motel, they even allow pets and no charge for pets.
BEWARE... MOTEL WIFI!! This was the first time that I was alerted and called about my identity being stolen while on stay. My guess is one of the cars, especially on the backside, that back in close to the motel and sit in their car all night?
Place isn't family-friendly as I witnessed a screaming at the top of their lungs domestic dispute. The weed smell is powerful. Many people sit in chairs outside their rooms and smoke blunts.. and that's coming from someone who smokes occasionally.. some people just can't take a walk and be courteous.
Location is basically a trucking rest stop. You've got a gas station, a taco Bell/KFC, Mcdonalds, and if Golden Corral is open (shut down for a gas leak the whole time I was there). That's it.
That brings me to service. Room service never came, I had to chase them down just to get 1 change for my set of towels. The main fleece blanket, which will be your comforter, will have holes and slices in it. Dog poop everywhere. Don't walk in the grass! 2 doggie trash can stations we're never emptied and overflowing!
Lastly, with the bright light right outside your door, don't open it at night unless you want thousands of bugs to flood into your room.
A lot of the responses to these reviews state "we are disappointed" and "we try to" well.. Try Harder MOTEL 6. This location reaps what it sews.
GROSS. Dried BLOOD on the bedsheets, greasy stained as well. Literally no water preassure in the sink or shower. Fleas and or ticks/bedbugs all over the beds as well. Also BLACK MOLD on the matresses.
I took a shower this morning and came out more dirty than when i arrived.
Staff was friendly but i'd rather have a bad experience checking into a clean room than friendly folks managing a dumpster fire.
Also, there's 3 other hotels right by there, skip this location.
Positive: That it was a cheap hotel but it was a clean hotel it wasn't loud Negative: In the morning when we came down to get coffee the guy that was running the desk refuse to make more coffee so we ended up going out of our wayp and we had to eat at one of the other restaurants which the breakfast was nasty
I have stayed there for a night while traveling for my college and could have a good night stay there. They room are neat and cool, and the staff are obviously a great help for us. Would definitely recommend.
The service was great, the food even better. We had nachos, buffalo chicken egg rolls, wings and a burger. The wings were the best cooked wings, juicy and crispy. This was our first time there, but definitely not our last.
Brewery with a wide selection of house craft beers that range from IPAs, Ales, Stouts and everything else under the sun. The cocktails were delightful and they even had a wine selection for the wife. Super friendly and well educated staff. Thatâs f
We love this park. There is a beautiful stroller friendly trail that is also a story trail. My kids ages 1-9 loved it. There's a longer trail that goes around the park and crosses the street. We haven't gone as far as crossing the street, but the tra
More than a bar. The food is really good. I have been providing Music Bingo for a couple months now and eating every so often. The pizza is really good. It's a definite contender for great Pizza. The cheese steak is really good as well. One of my fav
