We came to this motel thinking it looked okay and gave it a chance. It was the single most despicable little motel I’ve ever been in. The whole motel felt unsafe and suspicious from the beginning when you enter the lobby. When we were checking in, it took the guy 20 minutes to actually give us the key because he claimed he needed to “check the room first”. I’ve never had a receptionist tell me that before. Then he had to answer a call and grab some towels? Why did you waste our time and why were there no towels in there? When we finally got our key, we went through a hallway with a flickering light to our room. And, man, what a poorly kept and frankly unsafe place. There were holes punched into the wall, there was black mold on the curtain, open outlets, and uninstalled ceiling lights. We had decided to get out of the hotel room in what must have been less than 5 minutes because everything about this hotel told us it is unsafe and to get out as soon as possible. We wanted to get a refund because of how bad everything was and how quickly we got out. But according to their policy, you have to be checked in for less than 10 minutes. I wasn’t in my room for anything more than 5 minutes, however, according to the one guy working the front, I’m technically checked in the moment I’m in the hotel. What makes this worse is that the guy wasted at least 10minutes of our time doing God knows what. So even if we wanted to be in our room and leave in 10 minutes, we couldn’t because he wasted that time. This is the worst hotel I’ve experience and if you care about your family or your own safety, do not come here.

This was the most disgusting hotel I have ever been to. We should’ve known right when we walked into the lobby but decided to give it a chance because we were exhausted. It took us 5 minutes to decide we didn’t want to stay and immediately started looking for a new place to stay when we arrived at our room. The elevator was broken and the AC didn’t work so they had all the windows in the hallway open on our floor. Not only did we have to carry up all our belongings through the nasty staircase, but we had to do it with no AC. The hallways look like something from a horror movie, the carpets were dirty and the floors felt like you were going to fall through in certain areas. The ceiling and walls were peeling and falling apart, and they had smoke detectors that were ripped from the ceiling with exposed wires. When we arrived at our room, we immediately wanted to leave. It was exactly what you saw in the hallways, but you were going to be sleeping in it! The curtains were falling off the wall, the walls and ceilings were peeling, the floor and AC were disgusting, and the bathroom was the worst part. The AC was barely working and was blowing more dirt and dust than cold air. The beds were absolutely horrible, they were uncomfortable to sit in and the mattresses were extremely dirty, covered with dust, mites, and stains (blood, pee and who knows what else). The shower head was hanging off the wall in the bathroom, the toilet was not sealed to the floor and the whole bathroom was just extremely dirty. There was a whole hairball coming up from the shower drain… The whole hotel room and hotel just gave you a horrible feeling in your stomach and we were itching after sitting on the beds. The only good rating i’ll give this place is the guy who was up front last night. He was so kind and respectful, he genuinely cared and felt bad. They gave us a full refund and we left right away, it was just beyond disappointing. We saw mixed reviews and decided to give it a try, but honestly we paid the same amount to stay at quality inn and it was extremely nice compared to this hotel. The only good thing about this motel 6 is that dogs stay for free, we've stayed at plenty of motel 6's and have never had this experience. There is no grass or anywhere soft for dogs to use the restroom and the whole property is covered with dog poop. All in all, don’t believe the 5 star reviews you see, and the pictures on this website are extremely outdated and possibly fake.

Unfortunately our experience wasn’t the best. The price is great. My kids and I traveled from California to visit family here in El Paso and the price was perfect. From the start the employees have been very patient and accommodating I really did appreciate that! Thank you. The rooms definitely need updating, cosmetic repairs and cleaning as well as the amount of available amenities. I wish they had towels in the room and more pillows. :)

Very bad experience. Had 3 different rooms. The first room toilet gushed out water. Second room the lock didn't work. 3rd room we did stay in but it's shower was falling apart and had no shower curtain. The TV was barely viewable and was washed out and blue. The whole hotel was in disrepair. The elevator did not work and we had to bring out stuff up and down 2 flights of stairs. Tried to get a refund and go somewhere but they refused.

Very deserted, you would think that was good so you could relax, but it was scary and creepy. The elevator didn't work. You had to carry your luggage up stairs. The carpets looked clean but had a horrendous smell. The room was not worth the $75 charged. The shower was ridiculous, the bar, shower curtain, and the wall were falling apart . The only chair in the room was broken. I would never recommend or stay here again.

Review is long over due. I highly recommend this location. The beds are super comfy and ac blows nice and cold. Great showers. Don’t let negative reviews drive you away from a good motel with great deals. Great location near everything. Save some money. Pets stay free. You can never go wrong with this location, only down side is when I stayed the night the pool was out of service. No complaints here. Me and wife will be back.

We travelled from AZ to ELP to attend a friend funeral, we didn’t have enough time to look for a better place to stay. So far this has been the worst experience ever. 1st the place looked very empty but still got a room on the 3rd floor, front desk was not very helpful ( personal calls and loud music was more important than tired customers by 11pm when we arrived) the bed and pillows sheets were dirty (brown stains) we had to sleep with our own towels on top of the pillows, the room/floor has a very weird/disgusting smell, bed sheets has little holes around, bathroom was dirty or at least not freshly cleaned, just half of toilet paper roll and not at least an extra one for customer use. After the front desk check out room before activating the key. Elevator not working, weird white stains in the room curtains. We booked two nights and it’s only 5 am and I’m already going to cancel the 2nd night (cancellation policy on email says you need to cancel before 4 pm to avoid any fees) I prefer to sleep in the truck than spend another night here. Not recommended at all. I understand this is cheap, and this was a non planned trip due circumstances but cheap doesn’t need to mean dirty rooms. Also rooms are not $40 per night it was almost $145 for the two nights. For this price you can find a way better option
