My wife and I stayed here after attending a concert. The guy at the desk was very nice. My wife hated the bed, I thought it was great. The exterior and many of the guests made it feel like traveling to a Third World slum. One of the wall sconces was broken. There was a mystery stain on the “clean” sheets. The bed foundation looked like something had been sacrificed on it. We asked for two more towels and two more pillows. The towels were no problem. No pillows, “All our rooms are booked so we don’t have any extra pillows.” When we checked out Saturday morning the lady at the desk treated me with the contempt I deserved for having stayed there.

We've been living here since December. The staff has so far been very understanding and willing to work with us. We've been fairly consistent with payments. Today we find out that the owner isn't happy with the amount of money he's making off of us (with an almost completely booked motel) and will be kicking people out and raising the nightly rate. If you can book literally anywhere else, do so. You'll likely get a better room for the same rate at LITERALLY any other hotel. The owner is greedy and just trying to fund his several trips per year to India.

Bed bugs walking on wall, non working fire alarm, room smelled like cat pee, bedspread had stains on it. Girl next door room #134 attempting to sell herself. check out immediately. Management refuse to refund me money for two rooms booked for weekend. Make sure you get your reservation in early for other hotel or motel locations. Don’t get stuck here, had to rebook a room 20 miles out. Thank you for refunding our money , Completed on July 08, 2024.

Stayed at Motel 6 in North Des Moines IA. 4940 14th Ave. This was the absolute worst place I have ever stayed in Dirty room. my wife had bed bed bites all over her body Loud room next door with people fighting Right next to highway so it loud Place is pretty run down No breakfast. I would recommend to stay away from this place. Did not feel safe either. Would give it zero stars if I could.

The rooms are pricey for a motel that rarely gives you a microwave or mini fridge. Joint room is horrible. Could hear almost every unpleasant thing. A disturbing person stayed not the far from me disrupting the peace. Just an overall shady area and I don't feel safe. I wouldn't bring any children around here to stay. Some rooms have roaches so I've heard! There were no roaches in my room though! But the shower was dirty. The sheets had dust mites or something because I have sensitive skin so I feel everything. You can tell they haven't replaced these bed sheets in a very long time. The only positive was the receptionist was helpful.

I’m not much of a complainer but we stayed here spent the day at adventure land got to our room ready to shower after a long day and there was hair all in the drains the shower was gross went to tell the worker he wasn’t at the front desk as I was walking back to the room he walked out of another room smelled like weed this place is horrible if it’s the only place you have to stay then ok but it won’t be a great stay! We were told since we stayed in the room there’s nothing they can do about it.. which there was nothing we could do everywhere else was booked…

This place is a wreck! Seemed decent at first but got in room holes in comforters from smokers, hair in shower, no trash cans of any sort and just poor service! On top of that rooms smell like weed and When I went to office to find owner he came out of room on bottom floor smelling like it too! Will NEVER EVER waste my money here or NEVER reference this place to anyone. If you can stay elsewhere no matter the price I would highly recommend stay elsewhere!!!!

This place needs to have a complete site restructure. The staffing aside from the front desk were a joke. Was met by the "maintenance" man (who was enjoying himself a marijuana cigarette) obvious by the act of passing a joint and the odor on his person, to inform me that my tv did not have a cord and he would return with one (Never saw him again) but was complete oblivious to the fact that the shower was in disrepair. There was a large group of men drinking in the parking lot until 2 am when police and ems were called for a lady who was assaulted by one of the men. Fixtures almost falling off of the walls and partial repairs everywhere you looked... would not recommend this to anyone you care about. I am completely disgusted that a company would allow a building with their name on it to fall to these levels of disrepair. BTW I can't comment much on the exterior as the group of men were challenging almost every male figure to "wrestle or box" so needless to say I didn't indulge their nonsense and stayed inside. Still can't believe I payed for this "experience".
