The cockroaches, more than a few, were obviously long time tenants. The room belonged to them and they knew it. The "clean" towels seemed to have skipped laundry day and apparently they only have enough for every other person to get staph infection. The sheets had enough grease stains to see through to the mold on the mattress. There was dried urine on the outside of the toilet and on the seat. Every step through the hallway was a new and unwelcome smell. hopefully, it was only dog pee but it lingered longer than i expected. Had to step around or over enough trash to make Oscar the Grouch envious. The "person" behind the desk had the customer service skills of the guy that shoots the bolt through the hog's head at the slaughter house. Would have taken pictures of the place but I had a feeling the Roaches had already called for reinforcements. The parking lot was clean enough to use while booking a room that wasn't in a squat/trap house.
Dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in. Roaches everywhere. Everywhere smelled like weed, smoke, and/or urine. No toilet paper, stains everywhere and unswept room. Pillows were damp. Zero regard for people trying to sleep - loud partying and excessive music at 1am. Worst sleep of my life
The smell of urine in the stairway was powerful but not overwhelming, could not tell if it was human or K9. The used tire selection in the back of the parking lot was a bit disappointing. Tread level was not bad but size selection very limited. The cockroach in the bathroom seemed friendly enough and mostly kept to himself. The abandoned truck behind the hotel reminds you of a simpler time in life when you would spend the summer at your grandparents farm and there was grandpa's truck under the old oak tree where he parked it just before he died. The mattress although having the surface texture of a freshly plucked chicken was firm and supportive and the sheets had the appearance of being clean. Overall staff was very pleasant and made it through the night with no life altering consequences.
Arrived at this hotel with my two kids and my wife. I made the reservation way in advance and put in the comment box I need a 1st floor room went to check in the lady gives me 2nd floor I said my wife has a bad back she looked on the computer and said I can give you the jacuzzi room. Then she said the computer wouldn't let her change it. So my wife struggled up to the 2nd floor. We went in the room the bed spreads and pillow cases had cigarette burns all over them. The pillows were disgusting.
We got there and I can smell is weed and cigarette smoke... We reserved a room with a queen and a king... the queen was a queen mattress on a full frame... the site said it had a refrigerator and it didn't. There were no chairs in the room and it smelled like paint!! Both mattresses were old and dirty! Only good thing was the staff was nice and refunded our money!!
This hotel is really dingy and a lot of the non smoking rooms smelled like smoke. Holes in the sheets from cigarette burns. Disgusting mattresses. Smells like dog in a lot of the rooms. Found diabetic syringes on the bedside table. A different room had broken down swisher guts on the table when we got there. The roaches were awful. I would definitely not bring food in your room for any period of time. The toilets don’t get cleaned and the floors left my socks almost black. I was also put on the “do not rent” list because they double charged my card on 2 separate occasions and I made the mistake of talking to the front desk instead of calling the corporate number. Just a really dingy hotel with really poor ownership but I guess you get what you pay for.
Room was dirty, looking like there were literal boogers/snot on the wall. Sheets also had holes from cigarettes despite it being a non-smoking room. Hallway smelled like marijuana. They also put guests traveling with pets in the same area as those that aren't, so our hallway was noisy with a barking dog for quite some time as we were getting settled in. To make matters worse, my husband and I left the room fairly quickly to attend an event where we didn't get back until late (2am). Upon coming back from our event and using the restroom in the room for the first time we discovered the toilet would not flush. We didn't know what to do and didn't want any risk of stenches from our bio needs lingering, so we tried to find a gas station which all of them were closed. I went to the front desk to tell the worker that our toilet wasn't working/flushing and if there was a different one we could use, to which they replied, "Well, it should be." before finally letting me in to use a filthy employee restroom. My husband finally took matters in his own hands to discover the floater in the toilet was stuck and got it to work, which he should not have had to do. This is the second time we've had a poor experience with Motel 6 in general and it is safe to say this was our last.
The room was absolutely disgusting. Justin the desk attendant was unhelpful, and his lack of customer service skills drove my experience into the ground further. It's pretty sad when I feel like going camping, and sleeping in the dirt would be more sanitary than spending any time at all in that hotel.
