Motel 6 Corona, CA - Featured Reviews (1628)
It is currently 2am and 84 degrees outside and the air conditioning is out. It is unbearable and can't sleep. No ETA as to when it might be working again. Did this place do anything at all to help the guests? Absolutely not. We did not even get a discounted rate due to the inconvenience because they told us about it before we checked in. We already had a reservation in their system to stay a week & I didn't receive a phone call when the air broke down so I could try to make other accommodations. There are some great staff here but the greed of the higher ups is disgusting so I can't recommend this place at all.
Free Wifi, parking, and a Micro-frig are all key components to making my stay at any hotel reasonably pleasant. I believe these should come as standard amenities for any room rental. Sadly, they are not. If these keys do not exist, I feel as if I have spent money for nothing and have not gotten my money's worth. That said, my stay was less than satisfying. I will not be returning to this establishment because one or more of these keys were not present.
Front desk lady, I think Alexandria; sorry if I mistook your name, was so kind. Incredibly helpful and thoughtful. 5 star service. The motel itself isn't the newest and up to date. My bed sunk in. No mini fridge. But they're clean and smell nice. I felt safe. Would stay again just knowing the people who work herea, really welcome you.
Dead bolt on door was actually loose and I had to tightened all 4 screws.
Lingering smell of cigarettes
No mini refrigerator.
Horrible ventilation.
Old old restroom/sink area, and water pressure for the sink is too strong.
Have to hold toilet handle down to flush.
Beds are old and clearly worn in.
Door between rooms (which is creepy when you don’t know who’s in the room next to you.)
Overall, this place is old, outdated and past due for upgrades.
The room was chosen by someone else and free as I came to work out of town.
Had I had any idea what hotel it was, I would have booked my own hotel.
I’m not a snooty person, but I care about which hotels I stay in.
Staff was nice, but irritating that each room had to be paid for separately, instead of all together and everyone in the room had to show ID, which I blame on ghetto rachety people.
I am NOT HAPPY with this stay and I would tell motel 6 NOT to leave the light on for me.
This is not a business trip, but a place I've stayed here while I'm relocating to Corona. This place has been good service, rooms are clean. Also in the office there's a man working here named Mario who is always helpful, and nice. I don't really have any complaints. Everything has been fine for my stay at motel 6.
I stayed here the other day on one of the rooms has cockroaches 🪳🪳. My daughter was afraid to sleep cuz cockroaches would climb the bed. We move to different rooms next day . The wifi was not working good . The front desk guy ask me to leave cuz I made a wrong date for reservation. The manager wanted to call the police on me cuz my reservation is for 2 bed cuz I wanted to change to 2 beds . She only gave me 5 mins to do it . And I have to wait till 3pm to re check in again . She said her maid was waiting to clean the room . I was waiting the parking lot for an hr the maid has not even cleaned the room. So horrible they way they treat me like I’m a criminal.
No offense no lie straight up facts I thought I was in a homeless shelter. No exaggeration. I know it's motel 6 however this is bottom of the barrel I mean it was like a homeless shelter. People that were staying there omg. The sheets on the bed are gray instead of white they were originally white but they used it so much and it's thinning out real bad. Stains on the bed underneath the bed there was so much dust. Mount Everest of dust. The showers I didn't even take a shower I was like I'm going to get more dirtier. The sinks was nasty. The floors were super dirty. For the third time it wasn't a motel 6 it was a homeless shelter. Everybody that was there looked like they just left the halfway house or former hardcore drug users. You had woman there 8 months pregnant with four little ones running around the complex. People just leaving their doors wide open lounging It look like they're waiting for their numbers to get called That's why they had their doors open I think 😂. But I'm serious. They have no iron and no hair dryer I went to the front desk and I says hey I need a iron He gives me one and says that's the only one we have I was like for this whole complex you only have one iron he said yes they don't even have an iron board He just told me put my clothes on the bed and iron it. I understand it's a motel 6 but it says it's a two star It is nowhere near a two-star it's more like zero star literally. When you know it's bad when police come and drive slow through the whole complex looking at everything. We were there for a wedding in Southern California right in Corona. We arrived from Northern California 2 hours prior to the wedding starting so we had no choice but to stay there. It was too late. I seriously didn't take a shower That's how bad the place was.
We arrived on a Saturday at 2am. We were given a room that had a leak and roaches. Also, when I made the reservation the lady that helped me told me I needed a CC to hold the room. At the time I made the reservation my husband wasn’t home and we were going to pay with his CC. I explained to the lady that we would be using another card but if it was to hold the room I could use my debit card. She told me that wasn’t a problem that when we got to hotel we could give the other card or even pay cash. By the time we got to the room, they had already charged my debit card and refused to reverse the charges. We got switched to another room the next day because of the leak and roaches. The room we got switched to had a broken AC. The room was so stuffy it was hard to sleep.
