I stay here several times a year for work. The new manager is terrible. I had room service walk into my room while I was in the shower. When I asked the manager how to avoid that in the future she called me a liar. She was combative, rude, self entitled, and impossible to talk to. I have never had a problem before. I recommend NEVER staying here until management changes. She is a disgrace to Motel 6.

Good spot right off the highway. It's one of the better, cheaper picks all around if you are traveling. Front office staff was very friendly and accommodating. They were short staffed, so I had to get fresh towels every day at the front desk. Other than that, it was a fantastic experience.

Disgustingly dirty hotel with spots on the sheets. The shower, remote, most of the surfaces seem like they’ve had a cursory wipe down maybe once a week. The TV remote was so gooey and gummed up we had to wash our hands after every time we used it. They gave us a room with a leaky, drippy toilet that kept us awake most of the night. And that’s not to mention the total bait and switch in pricing. Not even talking about the fees, which are going to be included in any lodging of course. The advertised price was completely different from the borderline robbery price we were charged. Unless you’re going specifically to Couer DAlene for pleasure, keep on moving or stay in Spokane. Unless you like paying premium to stay in a dump. I get motel 6 isn’t a resort or something but I was at least hoping for a room that wasn’t in an active state of decay.

Typical motel 6. Comfortable but not very large. We had a smoking room which I didn't think existed anymore. The room was clean with very little smoke odor.

Damp, no ventilation, only two towels (that never got dry), no toilet lid, shower light burnt out as soon as I flipped the switch (and a shower head so low that even i had to squat to wash my hair), pillows were completely flat and useless, no extra toilet paper, barely and shelves or storage of any kind, a few bugs made an appearance and i wound up with bites, and zero housecleaning. Not once. It was a roof and a bed and a place to get cleaned up during our trip, but wouldn't recommend. Great central location, though, I guess?

I asked the person in front desk, if the handicapped room has a microwave and refrigerator, because that's how I booked it, and he told me that he didn't know, that he was inexperienced and new to the subject. Also he didn't give me a choice of room, he assigned me #121 but she gave me one where the sun shines directly on the window and it was hot. We've been there for an hour and it's just starting to get cold. I went back to talk to her to see if she could change my room and put me in one of hers where the sun wouldn't hit it. I explained to her that my wife has epilepsy and she responded; Since I booked online she can't do anything. So I told her to give me the money back and she was going to go to another hotel and she told me that she can't do anything either. She has a small fan in the office and I asked to borrow it; so that my wife would be better, since she could have a seizure. She said that she has no authority to lend anything, even though I'm not going to complain because the room reeks of nicotine, I think there is no interest in fixing the situation. It is the worst experience I have had staying at Motel 6. terrible service, the hotel chain; You don't deserve to have people who don't have the ability to solve customer problems. I'll wait to see if I change my review or leave it as is.

I was pleasantly surprised after mixed reviews - 2x double beds with fridge/microwave. Two story with stairs only to second floor. Rooms appeared renovated in last ten years. Only issue was feet getting a little black from the floor. It was mopped upon request. Despite busy Ironman weekend it was totally quiet. Young woman at desk arranged Uber on my iPhone (Cdn; hadn’t used app in a while). Parking lot generous. Staff was pleasant with smiles. No amenities except hair dryer and coffee machine. I’d stay there again. Note: I selected ‘business’ as purpose of my stay for this comment because a race is that ie, quiet needed around important scheduling and sleep constraints.

Great location to other activities but the service is little to NONE and when u ask to have the room service at minimum... Meaning can we have fresh towels or a roll of TP.... Well get ready to be screamed at by front desk calling u liars saying your room has been serviced in which it has not and we did not just stay over night we have been here for 6 days and so has our bag of trash placed outside of the room door . This service is by far garbage don't bother calling corporate because they well tell u to handle it back at front desk 0 stars if I could
