Motel 6 Cocoa Beach, FL - Motel in Cocoa Beach - 3701 N Atlantic Ave, USA

Room was dirty. Trash under bed, sandy gritty floors, toothpaste top on floor in bathroom. Linen didn't smell fresh. Burn holes in comforter even though we were in a non smoking room. Pool was shut down. Upon check in, we were not told that, until after we paid only because we asked what time the pool closed. For the price, it definitely wasn't worth it. My husband said something at check out, and the woman said we should've been giving a discount due to the pool closure. I would not recommend, definitely not family friendly as there were drug dealers in the parking lot, approaching anyone that walked outside. We definitely just wanted to spend the late evening pool side to relax after along day, and was unable to.

Checked in around 4 p.m. September 4, 2024. Checked out 8 a.m., September 5, 2024. The first room we were given (162) reeked of cigarettes & mildew. The bathroom sink didn't drain after washing my hands. There was a dead roach in the bathtub. Please see photographs. The second room (124), appeared much cleaner, and did not stink of cigarettes or mildew. No roaches dead or alive. THERE WERE NO AMENITIES, NONE. The television did not pick up any channels. The front desk said that is a problem in that room. The pool was closed. The room DID NOT INCLUDE : working cable or wifi, no refrigerator, no microwave, no iron, no blow dryer. There was hair on the sheets when I pulled back the 1980's comforter. Both beds had broken springs in them. No lighting near the bed at all. There was no comfort or rest to be had at this motel 6. Hot air poured into the room because the door didn't fit the frame. It looked like the police kicked it in. Pictures provided. Went to the front desk for towels (6 a.m.) and was told they didn't have any clean ones, I would have to come back in a couple of hours. People wondered the parking lot at all hours of the night. It was the least expensive place about 1 block from the beach. Another odd thing was that they wanted identification from every adult to enter the room. And came off with an ugly attitude when I inquired why. She said it was the law. Lol! That has to be a joke. Bottom line, you get what you paid for. This was a scary place to say. Avoid at all costs.

Read the reviews before i book was kind of nervous because it’s the Motel 6…Stayed a day before my cruise.Rooms was clean, clean pool, kids enjoyed ,plenty of restaurants and Winn-Dixie grocery store in walking distance. AC worked… I had it freezing in my room…Jackie at the front desk was wonderful. Everyone in reviews said ask for her so I did. If I needed any extra towels I asked and she gave them to me.. I have no complaints about Motel 6. If I take a cruise out of Port Canaveral I would stay there again..

I have stayed here on and off for 8 years it was good I liked it never had a problem. Just booked a room today and I don't like it I won't be coming back looks ran down the TVs don't work the phones in the room don't work. They need help bad

BUDGET FRIENDLY! WALKING DISTANCE to the beach with FREE PARKING. The rooms were not that bad. EVERYTHING IS IN WALKING DISTANCE. The front office smelled great! The rooms not so much. The pool was great! Clean!!! The rooms had hardwood floors vs carpet. Definitely a plus. We did see rats outside. But it's rats all over the ares. The

I booked in advance from their website then I called 3 times to let them know we would be arriving late from an international flight. They wouldn't answer the phone. I called the 1-800 number and they put a note on file with the booking. We arrived @10pm which was earlier than we expected. They quickly informed me that they gave away our room. She apologized and offered to help find a room somewhere else. After a number of attempts I asked about the note on our booking. She looked it up and appeared to read it for the first time. She then decided to cancel someone else's reservation and give us a room. The area was sketchy, the place was dingy. The walk-up to the second floor was dirty with garbage at the top of the stairs. Though the room didn't seem too bad we did notice some hair and stains on one of our blankets. The room was very large. There was a vast space between the beds and the tiny TV across the room. Our room cost over $200. I usually like Motel 6 because it is generally a good price for an OK clean room. This was none of those things.

We stopped by to see if our room was available but we're told to wait a couple hours... no biggie. Spent a while at the beach and get back to a room with only a smidgen of a soap bar left for us and a 24 inch by 30 inch towel was the only towel left for us to use. Very poor quality stay if the basics of having fresh towels can't even be met. Spend a little more money and treat yourself to somewhere nicer, wish I would have done the same!

That staff was fine. The rooms... not so much. Non working air conditioners (in Florida.. in the summer). Garbage tvs. The place is falling apart... we only slept here 1 night, but that was enough to know we will never come back. Motel 6 needs to pull their brand. Oh and the check in lobby closes at 11.. they won't leave the light on for you.
