I had quite an experience at the location. 1st time visit. Overnight stay. The exterior and some aspects of the service definitely seem to need improvement. The building looks weathered, and the parking lot is in need of repairs. There are a lot of people walking around the parking lot. It is obvious they are not guests. Trash cans are overflowing with trash. When I walked into the lobby, I was not greeted. Instead, I listened to the employees talk about work. Eventually, I was acknowledged. Very unprofessional. On the positive side, the room and bathroom were clean, the air conditioning worked, and linens were clean. However, the door frame was damaged. It needs to be repaired. The presence of security cameras are visible. There is also a security guard at night. It could indicate it is not a safe location. I wouldn't recommend or return.

It's conveniently close to McDonald's, which is great for breakfast. The pool was nice, and the rooms were satisfactory. However, I wouldn’t stay here again due to too much nighttime activity. The overall experience was okay, but the noise level was a significant drawback.

The first day in my room I killed a cockroach, but in my two day stay, that turned out to be the least of my frustrations. My sister and I booked our rooms directly from the motel, and despite being assured that our rooms would be next to each other, they were on opposite sides of the building. The most disappointing experience during our stay there, however, was not getting new sheets or towels, after two in person requests at the front office.

Although this was a more affordable option, it was still pricy at $200 w/ a needed early check-in. My first impression was parking and someone greeting me by asking me for a cigarette and then stepping out of my car onto petrified dog poop. There were only 2 towels for the double room we were in and my friend had to go up to the front desk 3 times to try and get more. The washcloths were well used, but they had dyed them to hide any stains. The room smelled like a number of distasteful things, but the most prominent was cigarette smoke. I could not get the odor out of one of my shirts after washing it and had to throw it away. Anyway, I could go on, but you get the idea. It was pretty much all you fear from a Motel 6 despite charging upscale prices. Bad beds, bad shower, just all-out bad experience. I was scared to touch anything.

Saddened that I had not done further research but I would not recommend anyone to stay here. Seems that this location is used to house the homeless and those getting released from prison. Which is fine if they were able to control who hangs out around the property and cleaned adequately. Arrived at 11 p.m. and there were shady individuals hanging around property. Screaming in the middle of the night. With three children, I felt very unsafe. The room smelled like urine, toilet wouldn't flush and there was garbage overflowing along with an abandoned shopping cart. Tried to get a refund to book a different place but front desk was not responding. I will be following up with the Better Business Bureau and Department of Consumer Affairs.

I stay here on average of 2-3 times per month. The location is perfect, right off of freeway, lots of places to eat nearby, from a Steakhouse to fastfood and everything in between.The rooms are spotless and the entire property well maintained. The customer service is 100% top notch. The staff is so friendly, always smiling and with absolute sincerely eager to make each guests stay the best possible experience. I appreciate you guys so much. Thanks for leaving the light on for me.

I booked a last minute stay here for one night because I was too tired to drive and needed a cheap place to crash. I’ve stayed at other Motel 6 locations and had a decent experience so I figured why not. BIG MISTAKE. The room was practically unlivable. Saw several bugs crawling in the room when I checked in, took a simple shower and brushed my teeth which severely clogged both the tub and sink and took HOURS to fully drain. Also found little piles of some powder substance on the dresser like the room hadn’t been properly cleaned. The final straw for me was when I left the room a for a couple of hours to get food, came back and found the mini fridge on the floor leaked everywhere, all over my luggage and ruined the clothes I had inside. I called the front desk and asked for a refund because I was going to just leave. I was told that the best he could do at the moment was put me in another room because there is no manager on duty to issue a refund. He said if I wanted to leave, the manager would reach out to me in a couple of days for the refund. I said that was fine with me, I took pictures before I left for proof. Nobody ever reached out to me once. They wouldn’t return my calls or emails. I even called corporate who also reached out to them for a manager and still got no response. I finally contacted Expedia who I booked the room through and explained to them what happened, they contacted the hotel and was told by the hotel that I was lying because there was no mini-fridge in the room, I sent Expedia the proof of the mini fridge being in the room, Expedia told them that I had proof and they said I was still lying and that I got those pictures from somewhere else. Motel 6 not only refused to return any of my calls and emails to at least talk through this but they also refused to give me a refund. I will NEVER EVER stay at another Motel 6 location again. What a horrible way to treat your customers .

Don't trust your reservations with Motel 6. I made a reservation for one of my employees, they sent over confirmation for 6 nights. When our employee arrived they had cancelled the reservation. We received no cancellation notice, Nothing!!||The hotel was fully booked, I called their main reservation number and they offered us another location for $400.00 more. Needless to say, we declined and took our business elsewhere. I will never book with Motel 6 again. As I stated before, don't count that your room will be available to you even with a confirmation number. ||My employee had to wait for a couple of hours so I could find him other accommodations. It was hard to find since special events are happening in SD and|the majority of accommodations were booked.
