Motel 6 Charles Town, WV - Motel in Charles Town - 106 Jefferson Terrace Rd, USA

This motel has been completely renovated and provides both refrigerator and microwave. I found it to be very clean and comfortable. A positive experience was in early March, I left a jacket in my room and returned April 17th and they had my jacket.

Checked in here with my family.The room was spotty clean. The place is in a great location but all guests please be advised and aware that there is a lot of drug flow going in / out of here. There is people living here that don’t have any respect for others arguing, blaring music you name it at all hours !!! Stay here at your risk extremely sketchy!!! The police in this area where the hotel is are worthless or they would not be allowing this type of activity to go on. I advise staying at a different hotel or at least getting a concealed carry permit in wv first for your own safety!!!

During my stay at Motel 6, I was impressed by the cleanliness, comfortable amenities, and friendly staff. The room was cozy and well-maintained, providing a relaxing environment after a long day of travel. The convenient location and affordable rates made it an excellent choice for my trip. I highly recommend Motel 6 for anyone looking for a pleasant and budget-friendly accommodation option.

Our room was quiet and we felt safe. Our bikes weren’t messed with while we slept. The only downside was when we cleaned up spilled water, the towel came up filthy. We don’t walk around barefoot regardless.

Found feces or menstrual blood under toilet seat. Showed staff. They didn't offer discount or different room. Sent complaint to corporate regarding disgusting room. Got a strong-arm email from hotel staff indicating I could be charged additional cleaning fees. Housekeeping stated the room was cleaned. You be the judge. I will never stay at another Motel 6. Future guests please be advised. Heed the complaints!

To say this place is a dump would be a gross understatement. The first room they put me in the air conditioning didn't work. They move me to another room where the AC did work but that was about it. I went to flush the tiolet and found the water was shut off. I turned it on and the tiolet ran continously. The door knob to the bathroom was ready to fall off. No refrigerator or microwave in the room. Oh did I mention the roaches. I spoke with the front desk the next morning and requested the manager call me. He or she did not. This place ranks up there with the WORST hotel I have ever stayed at. Normally I stay at the Days Inn when I am in town and I suggest you do the same. Avoid this dump at all cost! We come to Charles town every 6 months and rest assured I will NEVER stay here again!

Everything is fairly ok. Bathroom is a little small and could use an upgrade in size. Beds are clean but very hard and may leave you with some back pain by morning. My biggest issue is the Wi-Fi it is very spotty and only works about 75% of the time.

Room was what you would expect from a Motel 6. The review is so low because I possibly left something there. When I called, the desk attendant was rude, refused to check with housekeeping or look, and almost hung up on me. NEVER again and I will be contacting corporate. Writing this I am sure, if they do have the item, I definitely not get my item back if they do have it. If you do stay here, I hope you don’t need anything from the staff because you most definitely won’t get any and they WILL be rude and dismissive.
