Homeless everywhere. People smoking pot which leaked into our room. Room smelled like stale cigarettes. Dogs barking and howling all night. People slamming doors. The hallway carpet looks like it hasn’t been cleaned let alone vacuumed in years. Guy at the front desk was nice. Horrible experience. Im surprised the stuff in the room worked. I guess we get what we paid for.

This hotel is the most cleanest well taken care of hotel I have ever stayed at.. the atmosphere is most humbling to be at. Everyone is so nice and welcoming.. I had a fabulous time. Thank you so much for making my stay the best there was.

This place was a dump. Place smelled of weed, floors were disgusting, there was a 2 inch gap between the wall and air conditioner, smoke detector was on the desk with a battery next it. Homeless people just hanging around....it was scary and I will never stay at motel 6 again. We got there late and left early. Cancelled our second night. Oh and while I waited in the car for my husband to check us in, a person ran out in a skimpy swim suit who dripping wet. They don't have a Pool and an old women was sitting outside in her night shirt smoking a cigar. TV also didn't work.and neither did the ice machine

OMG!! Got out of the car and a guy came out of the front door and asked us to buy cigarettes. It went downhill from there. It smelled like weed throughout the place, the carpet up the stairs and on the second floor we stayed looked grimy. The TV didn’t work in fact, was just set in a hole in the wall not even finished. We had one towel for two of us. No shampoo. I just hope we didn’t get bedbugs!!

Was greeted by Tori at the front desk. She was more than helpful from the get go. She helped with everything from making sure I was pleased with my room and gave great directions to everything that cedar rapids had to offer. Definitely will be back to this location anytime visiting Cedar Rapids.

Floors in room haven't been mopped since the grand opening. The shower is disgusting. An employee reeked of marijuana, front desk wouldn't check us in 20 minutes early. In fact check us in 20 minutes late. Also the front desk counted the till in front of the line of people waiting to check in. The house keeper was wandering the halls with no clothes on clearing tripping. Halls smell dank. Also tons of (homeless?) people hovering around the dumpster and parking lot was not a good look. Embarrassing.would give 0/5 rating if I could. Left 2 hours after checking in and stayed at the sure stay 3 minutes away. Spend the extra money.

Run don't walk away from this place, the staff is horribly rude, they called the cops on us for asking for new sheet, Mr fraquan williams was extremely rude to all of the guests that I witnessed, then was extremely threatening while we were packing our things to leave, called the cops because we were "screaming" and "coming at him" when voices were never even raised. I would highly recommend not coming here as a single female because it is not safe at all.
