This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed at in my entire life. I would rather sleep in my car. If I could give zero Stars I would give it zero. Our room was full of flies. We paid for non-smoking room but it was a smoking room instead. There was a light that was about 10,000 times as bright as the sun directly outside our room. The flimsy curtains did nothing to block the light. I could have read a book with lights off when the curtains pulled. I mean it when I say this is the worst hotel I've ever ever ever ever ever stayed at. There was a small pile of some kind of animal fecal material on the concrete outside our door.
We stayed at this place passing through from South Dakota to California and we were astonished! We have stopped by many motel or hotels and we always check out our room before we settle in and we’re pleasantly surprised!! We didn't have high expectations but we were amazed. Our room was spotless and we had a full kitchen, two comfortable beds , plenty of towels and supplies. This motel also has a pull out bed in the suite with two beds. Plenty of room for the whole family. I will personally be coming here rather than any of the luxury hotels in town for a better price and value than the others. We were so blessed and the friendly Indian gentleman named “Vicky” at the front counter was nothing short of a ray of sunshine, he takes joy in his occupation and restores dignity to the idea of staying at a motel for our family. We are grateful and we will go out of our way next time just to stay here with our new friends at motel 6 Casper. Come check it out , you won’t be disappointed.
Stayed on Monday, July 15th, 2024. Easy check in with 2 reserved parking spots for registration right in front of the office. Friendly gentleman at the front desk. Room was very clean, linens were clean, beds were fine. Shower was cool - the shower head is located above your where you step in, and is aimed at the far wall. Good TV channels, convenient ice supply. Everything one could hope for, for a very fair price. Happy guest!
We had a suite, with a 2 queen bedroom. My only issue was that there were no dishes or pans in the kitchen for someone traveling to be able to use to prepare food (the only reason for the 4 stars for the room). It did have a nice size refrigerator with a freezer and a microwave. The room was nice, though not fancy, and it was very comfortable. Very roomy bathroom with a shower. For the money, it was an excellent stay! We will stay there again next time we are in Casper! We had good service at the desk, also.
An unexpected stop on our trip landed us here. The location was perfect for what we needed. The studio room we received was a good size with a kitchenette and side room. Unfortunately, within 15 minutes of being there, I had a cockroach run across the floor at me 😳 we had no where else to stay the night so we slept with the light on (literally). There is NO insulation in the ceiling so we were kept up all night by the upstairs guest walking around or moving furniture (super LOUD). We literally could have gotten more sleep in a car 😒 I tried to alert the front desk to the big problem when we left however the office was empty for several minutes and we had to leave. We will NOT be returning.
Our workgroup consisted of five archaeologists, each in separate rooms, and we all encountered various issues. My primary complaint was the overwhelming cigarette odor in my room, making it nearly impossible to sleep. When I politely addressed this with the owner, a Hindu man with glasses, he became immediately combative, insisting no one had ever complained (lie: numerous reviews mention cigarette odor issues). Later, he banged on my door with an employee, shouting, "Where's the smoke? Where's the smoke? All in your imagination!" while the employee sprayed deodorizer on the floor. as an attempt to mask odors. I calmly explained that I was not seeking a fight but simply wanted a room without the cigarette odor. He refused, stating it was the end of the day (though it was only 3:30 p.m.) and asked me to check back the following morning. The next day, after more polite persuasion, he finally provided me with a new room that had significantly less cigarette odor. Other members of our group faced issues with smell, the mini stove, air conditioning, and cleanliness. The hotel only services garbage and towels twice a week. I understand it's a low level budget hotel booked last minute by our company, but guests should not be met with such hostility for requesting a room change due to ignored 'no smoking' signs by other guests. Interesting to note: many Uber drivers refused to enter the hotel premises, preferring to pick me up on the road outside. After hearing their stories, I understood why. I'm certain my review will receive a "canned" comment by the owner/'Team 6' from the franchise like "we pride ourselves with providing a comfortable night's rest" or other cookie cutter response, but the problem here is the franchisee ownership and their quick temper.
The "suite" was a joke. They threatened to keep the $50 security deposit because I had to clean up some puke from my pregnant fiance with a towel and said I should have used the small stained towel they provide on the counter which wouldn't have cleaned anything up. The refused to give me another towel to shower. The tv didn't work the first night and the wifi kept shutting off and having to reconnect. The guy at the front desk worked about 14 hours a day and was very quick to have an attitude with every customer I saw him talk to. The rudest front desk I've ever talked to and I was more then nice every time we talked. We will stay anywhere but there next time.
Used this motel as last resort travelling thru Casper late at nite. Room seemed basically ok other than doors that didn’t close properly and bugs running across floor. Also many shady characters that I’m guessing were long term tenants of the place. Did not sleep at all as felt my vehicle may be vandalized overnite which caused me to get up several times. I couldn’t leave early enough but waited until sun up and was gone. Would not stay again just because of others staying there.
