BEST hidden gem around! Not your typical Motel 6 at all. This establishment is not only clean & quiet but run by people who truly care! They keep a top of the line environment without any sketchy, noisy party-type guests...no barking dogs, no late night racket. I personally wouldn't stay @ any other|Motel 6 anymore but this location is the exception. Location is near everything you might need, within walking too & @ a reasonable price. The outside landscape is absolutely Hawaiian-like. I'd reco to my best friends & family!!

Room was very clean and nice. Manager was very accommodating. We were traveling back to Alaska. We had a truck and a 15 foot trailer and had no problems parking it where we could keep an eye on it thank you Motel six

This is our go-to place when we're in town. Our room is always comfortable and clean. However, given that we have seen this property on numerous stays over the past five-or-so years, we are seeing definite signs of decline: more chipped paint, more shabby furniture, more frayed linens, no extra blanket for a bed with only very thin coverings, no tissue (Kleenex) in the tissue slot, no toiletries. None of these conditions will deter us from coming back--so far. It's still a clean room with a functional bathroom for a price we can afford.

Check in and check out were easy with friendly staff. Nothing fancy but it was nice having the refrigerator and microwave oven in the room. There is some noticeable noise from the freeway but I stopped noticing it after a short time.

Hidden Gem! Not like ANY other Motel 6 in CA. Room clean & well appointed, front desk accommodating, environment quiet & hospitable, no sketchy ppl hanging out in p kg lot or area.

I was so happy to see the rooms are clean, the staff was so very nice and accommodating. The room was just big enough for a family of 5 (3 young kids). Nice area and affordable and even though it's off the hwy, unless the door is open it is very quiet. This will be my permanent choice of stay when in our passing threw CA.

Excellent value. Best Motel 6 I have stayed in so far. Welcoming staff. Spacious rooms. Right off of freeway, minimal noise, maybe soundproofed. Dog friendly. No coffee maker or shampoo/conditioner. Convenient snacks and drink machine and ice machine. Definitely recommend. For dog owners, please pick up after your dog!...they even provide poop bags!

I think this Motel 6 is the most cleanest Motel 6 I've ever seen in San Diego North County since 2011 and the manager and the staff at the Carlsbad North are really nice and friendly This Motel is Very close to the Adventure cycling Association the Pacific Coast Bicycle Route
