Motel 6 Burlington, WA - Featured Reviews (182)
We were passing through after hiking in North Cascades and needed a quick place to spend the night. Our experience was absolutely disgusting. 🤢 🤮 We were a group of 6 who booked 3 rooms. One of the rooms had trash in the floor and a used towel in the bathroom. Our room had hair in the shower and dog hair all over the bed underneath the sheets. The sheets had cuts/holes in them and the whole room smelled bad. Toilet paper roll was used and there were spiders in the corners. It also felt very unsafe. Some of the activity going on around the premises was shady to say the least. We immediately requested a refund but the owner would only give us half the money back and said he could “have someone change our sheets” instead. Of course we took the 50% and hightailed it out of there as fast as we could. I’ve stayed in some decent motel 6’s before but this was horrendous. It felt like being in a 3rd world country.
It's exactly what you'd expect from a budget motel, but better. Super clean rooms, great service. Comfortable, well designed spaces, convenient location. Will absolutely stay here again.
One of the noisiest hotels I have ever had to spend a night in. The noise from the road was beyond disruptive. There were a couple of lousy occupants in the room next door from mine who kept using profane language and slamming doors all night. All in all, pretty unpleasant for a nearly $300.00 for a 2 night stay. I can't tell if random people these days are just insane or if this location attracts weirdos.
Super disappointed in my room. There was a used wash cloth hanging in the curtain of the shower. Towels and bed sheets were stained and dirty. We also found dog hair in between the bending. Wouldn’t recommend staying here
Room had unbearable dissenfectant smell..100 f outside and had to keep window open. Woke up in night to go to washroom and puddle of water in dark. Fridge had defrosted ..lots of water. Im sure this was all just bad luck as room was clean. bur would think twice on staying there in future
Horrible horrible place. The bathrooms were totally disgusting . Pee around the toilet and on floor. There was a dirt ring in the shower. It smelled like piss. The bedding was so bad that my wife ended up with a severe rash all over her face and neck and we had to go to urgent care and then go out and get our own pillows and blankets to sleep with . (We had a house fire and went to stay there for a couple of nights right after. Every other place was booked in the immediate area last minute .) A family friend came by to see if we needed anything the first night the front desk employee came down pounding on our door screaming " no guests after 9pm" then I opened the door and she yelled at me that she was calling the police if my guest didn't leave within 5 mins and I would need to leave. So we had our company leave. Then a couple days later we had the same friend stop by during the evening. He was visiting for a couple of hours . At 9:10pm someone came banging at our door. It was the front desk guy. And he yells at us " Nobody pass 9pm and all guests need to check in , I don't know why you keep having this problem " . I've never had any sort of problem at any other hotel ever. I feel like it's crossing the line treating a paying customer that way. The other weird thing is most of the staff lives there. They each have a room. And they all are a little off, like they might snap at any time. I'm not sure what the deal is but regardless it's dirty, they have all these odd rules and the two staff members I've dealt with have major anger issues. I get that it's motel 6 so I don't expect much, but it's like One Flew Over the Cuckoo's nest meets the Bates Motel or something . Maybe it's just me but I have a difficult time with some minimum wage employee comes yelling at me trying to tell me I'm not allowed to have a guest stop by. Especially when I'm a Veteran and was probably over in the middle east when they were running around in diapers.
Positive: Front office staff was very accommodating, and friendly. The location of the hotel was good. Negative: Very disappointed is the room condition. The front door has to be shut by using your shoulder.Toilet seat was was sliding back and forth like it was missing a bolt to hold it in place. The floor was dirty, very loud, we will never stay here again. Negative: ""
I should mention that the front desk man was weird with his attitude and energy. Eventually the room key didn’t work and the room wasn’t ready. We had to wait for 20-30 minutes to get settled. Though I rate 4 star because all essential was good like linens and towels. Only one soap was available for two queen beds, which I think was due to the housekeeper rushing to set up. No vacuumed the floor.. it was an expensive night ($220)with such services.

What a nice area for a picnic. We were traveling down from Vancouver BC heading to Portland and I wanted a quick, not too far off I5 place to have some lunch that was also in the shade. This fit all the criteria and had some charm as well.

Great place to stay with a small kitchenette stocked with dishes, silverware and pots. The cupboard is great if you need more cooking pans. It does not have an oven. The beds were comfortable and the area was quiet. We are repeat customers and it w
Cool spot to watch the game, the staff are friendly and attentive, and the food is great. Tacos are big and tasty, and burgers have good meat with fresh lettuce, tomatoes, etc.
What a perfect overnight stay. Welcoming staff, beautiful interior, clean, and everything shiny like new. I forgot my phone charger and the front desk loaned me one. There was a hairdryer in the immaculately clean bathroom. Big closet with hangers, a
Excellent staff, service, and amenities. On site laundry is fantastic as an amenity, but I recommend that they would change the dryer because unfortunately I had to run my clothes several times through the dryer. They have a fitness center and a pool
Come hungry! Margaritas was enough to fill glass at least 3 times. We did the two for 25 dinners with the artichoke heart dip appetizer. We had take home boxes, it was so much food!
