Motel 6 Buffalo, NY - Airport - Williamsville - Motel in Williamsville - 52 Freeman Rd, USA

The rooms were clean enough. Just be prepared because it seems like a long term stay facility for some people who are there. Not unsafe, just not great. The lady who checked us in seemed overworked although she was fast and efficient at check in. Parking is tight by the rooms. There is a pool, didn’t use it. Coffee was terrible. Elevator is sketchy and the bulletproof window in the entrance may throw some people off.

The room is very basic. Looks nothing like the pictures. The heating system smelled like someone urinated in it. The entire room and 3rd floor has such a strong Marijuana odar I'm probably going to get a contact high. The front desk was very nice. Room was pretty clean. The beds creaked and are not sturdy. I would avoid the place... it's better to spend a few extra and stay at one of the others in the area.

Me and my family of 6 reserved our room 3 weeks prior to our stay. A few hours before our check in, we were notified that our room was full! We were confused because our reservation was confirmed on Expedia, but then on the same call, they said we were "lucky to get a room". This was at 6:00 pm. When we checked into the room at about 10:30 pm, we first got a really weird vibe of the motel. Our family was just genuinely tired and frustrated, and wanted to sleep. They then said that our room was still dirty! The receptionist was also acting extremely passive aggressive even though it was literally her shift and job. We waited about 2 hours to clean one room. When we got into our room, it was completely bare and dirty. There was not even a microwave in our room! The floor had visible pieces of dirt and sand in it. We got into our room at about 10:30, and finally got into our rooms at 1:30 which is atrocious since we did everything so early. They employees also were lying, saying our room was refunded. Honestly the only good thing about this motel is that it's near the airport. Otherwise, even location would be a 1 star.

Upon arrival to a foul smell. Checking in there was some complication as they were overbooked, but they gave us a room nonetheless. The room itself was okay, plain and the shower didn’t drain, sink was stained. The cleanliness of room/bathroom should be better maintained. The bed/sheets/pillow had a lingering cigarette, old and saliva smell. We were abruptly woken at 3am to someone opening our door and attempting to come in. Luckily the dead bolt was latched and we got up to investigate. We notified the front desk and they were unphased. Throughout the night we also heard the coming and goings of multiple guests. Greatly consider staying somewhere else as this was quite a traumatic experience for us.

Pros: NO BUGS of any kind, Clean, Convenient to the airport, Safe sturdy doors, Coffee, Comfy towels and linen. Cons: No microwave in rooms, there is only 1 for all hotel guests to share, No breakfast at all, Room service not frequent I have not had housekeeping for 4 days, so I'm not sure when they will service our room. Bathroom extremely small, so if your claustrophobic keep the door open. No where to sit outside.

We stayed there 5 nights. When we checked in the room was filthy. We asked the front desk to have it cleaned. The next day when we returned the floor throughout the room was wet.we used some of the towels to dry it. By the time we were done the white towels were black. The rest of our stay we had no housekeeping even though I requested it and was told they would do it. The room also had a smell to it. The management lied to us and told us what we wanted to hear. NEVER STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!!!!

We had a wonderful stay here. The rooms, while lacking amenities, were clean and cozy. The place is pet friendly and always has plenty of free coffee in the mornings. Was pretty quiet and the staff was super friendly and accommodating. The rate was extremely cheap too, the cheapest around.

Just came off a recent getaway trip. I enjoy the City of Buffalo NY. This Motel 6 was a little strange because of the people it attracts. The room AC wasn't working properly, room 217, it was old and dusty. The toilet bowl filled up with lots of water before it flushed and I had to hold the handle down. The maintenance man was a cool blackman who had to plug in the phone and checked the AC. The room was clean. The front desk manager tried to accommodate me by giving me a partial refund that didn't happen. The front desk manager also suggests going up to the third level that the maintenance man referred to as the Williamsville floor supposedly looks better than the rest of rooms on the 1st and 2nd level. I opted out because I didn't want to be on the third floor.
