Motel 6 Brownsville, TX North - Featured Reviews (951)
First, the negativity in this review is NOT directed toward whoever was at the front desk to check my wife and I in.
We stayed in room 201. Bring house shoes/slippers, and do not walk barefoot. The floor is filthy, I ended up throwing away a pair of socks rather than packing them into my bag with my other clothes. I barely walked around the room, and they were disgusting. The door latch did not lock. You can tell the room has been broken into numerous times. The refrigerator door is cracked and leaking. The TV remote was inoperable, either dead batteries or just a non-operable. The bed is a table with an uncomfortable mattress on it. If you don't believe me, please stop by. The tub spigot has 2 settings, the left is hot, and the right is the hottest. However, in order to add to the excitement, you'll have intermittent bursts of cold water blast you, just to keep you on your toes. Tip: If the water stays cold, turn it off, wait about 60 seconds, and then turn it back on. The toilet seat predates my own conception. The air conditioner sounds like there is a plastic bag caught inside of it. I understand that this is "just a motel 6." However, this does not mean that it should filthy. The fixtures/furniture are extremely dated, worn, and in need of replacement. The exhaust fan and the ceiling light in the bathroom are literally overlapped, causing reduced airflow. The reduced airflow has spawned a beautiful flora of black mold that covers about 1/4 of the ceiling in the bathroom. There are odd black dots on the ceiling that I could only guess was dried blood. There were dried nasal excretions on the shower wall. I'm not sure how to say this, but had it not been raining, I would've considered sleeping outside. In room 201, the roof did not leak while I was there. The owner puts the least amount of time and money into this establishment. It's clear that they are NOT equipped to run a motel, and it would be in Motel 6s best interest to NOT have their good name attached to such a horrible place. Motel 6, save yourself and get your name off this place. There is an EXCELLENT Motel 6, 8 minutes walking distance away at 2255 Frontage Rd, Brownsville.
I was pleasantly surprised at this particular Motel 6. For what we paid, which is reasonable it looks great inside the rooms. Most everything around the area is double the cost. Stephany is very professional at the front desk. She will go places!!!
Here in town only for few days for work. and man They Banged on my door So Hard , I was startled , would've stayed a few more days. but also I thought I was getting a fridge n microwave but didn't . and the Jacuzzi was brown 🟤 and their was burns on sink n blanket . my pillow smelled like wet rag. either way a different approach on the knock would've been better. after dealing w everything else , I Will Not be going Back to this hotel. and elevator has no air n scary steps are loose be careful n be safe everyone.
I was just there recently and Jamie(JC). Was very rude and disrespectful with me. I needed help in my room. told me that she was not going to help because she had better things to do. Even tho she was having quite a bit of laughs with the pool man. In my eyes, she too busy flirting with her crush. I called her out on it, and she got disrespectful and cussed me out. That she for sure was not going to help me. I asked Citlatli to help out with my room problem. She stopped cleaning the room she was cleaning and went out of her way to help me out. Thank you, Citlatli!!! On this stay, I felt I paid to get disrespected by Jamie(JC). Every time I saw her, she was rude and bothered by me asking her for help. I will not be coming to this place, and if you are reading this, DO NOT COME HERE!!!!!
July 4. I couldn’t believe the condition of the room. It was disgusting. First we had room 364. We had water under the bed. Didn’t know where it came from. Room smell like mold. The refrigerator was so rusted on the outside. And then the roach coming from under it!!! I was disgusted. Went downstairs and I demanded another room. I have always stay there when I’m in town. I just couldn’t believe it. I really appreciated Kayla, young front desk girl. She quickly made me arrangements to move to another room.
Reserved an ADA room. 2 disabled service member veterans one on oxygen, the room had to be wiped down with clorox wipes and we asked for clean sheets, sheets did not come we stripped off the dirty sheets and saw a filthy black mattress the walls have black mold the shower chair had black mold. The bathroom vanity was being held by three white moldy 2x4's. Then the AC had black mold! We requested a refund and was denied because we didn't complain within 30 minutes. Ashley copped an attitude and I asked where did it say on company letter head that a customer has to complain within 30 minutes? I also said we asked for sheets right away, and you didn't bring them do not stay at this disgusting place they I'll steal your money and Insult you at the same time. Ashley also closed the window to go feed a vagabond instead of conducting business
My husband and I with our 2 toddlers stayed for 2 nights in room 107. As soon as we walked in, we wanted to walk out. Smell wasn’t pleasant. Mini fridge had a layer of ice with whatever popped in there frozen to the bottom. Beds are hard and so worn! The shower curtain rod was broken, wouldn’t even hold the curtain closed to shower. Then I noticed my kids feet. The floor was so dirty that I had to keep them on the bed or with shoes on the whole time and get out of the shower and immediately put on sandals. The door safety latch was broken. Also whoever “maintenanced” this room as a terrible eye! Old fixtures with no purpose still on the walls and painted over. And the caulking job was terrible so that added to room being an eye sore. Overall, never again! It was disgusting to say the least!
The room was absolutely nasty. It was hair in the bathtub and dog hair on the bathroom walls and doors and our door didn't lock because it had been kicked in and nailed back together. It was gross.

Workouts are great! The staff is so nice and motivating because they push you through the workouts. It's like having your own personal trainers for 30 minutes because they watch what you do and make sure you're doing it right to avoid injury. Highly
I highly recommend Kuk Sool Won. They focus more on educating positive values and use martial arts as a way to convey these teachings. It shows kids strength and resilience. Shows them how to become strong, disciplined, motivated, and highly educated
I have been training at Galvans Gracie Humita BJJ school for several years. I can honestly say Professor Manny Galvan and Professor Martha Galvan are highly trained and very professional. Their school gives off a family vibe and they welcome all who
