The only good thing about this place was the staff. The place needs an upgrade real bad. There are a bunch of people who just basically live there it's strange but it worked for what I needed which was sleep. Im only giving five start because Fernando was so pleasant and made sure I had extra linen and pillows, he was so nice.

I recently stayed at this hotel for more than two days and had a generally positive experience with a few notable highlights. The location is excellent, just 1-2 minutes from the exit of Highway I-95, making it very convenient. There was also ample parking available, which made it easy to come and go. The room was equipped with a microwave and refrigerator, both of which worked perfectly. I was especially impressed with the refrigerator—it was cold enough that my orange juice became slightly slushy, which was a pleasant surprise. The cleanliness of the bathroom, bed, and the floor without carpet was exceptional, contributing to a comfortable and welcoming environment. However, there was a significant issue that affected my stay. The presence of smoke was a consistent problem throughout our time there. The smoke was noticeable in several areas of the hotel, including the lobby, hallway, and near the laundry room on the first floor. Unfortunately, the smoke also seeped into my room, which was particularly troubling due to a health condition that makes me highly sensitive to smoke. This ongoing issue significantly impacted my comfort and sense of safety during our stay. If it weren’t for the persistent smoke issue, I would have been delighted to give this hotel a 5-star rating. The overall experience was very positive, with excellent amenities, a great location, and high standards of cleanliness. The smoke problem, however, was a significant drawback. It affected not only the common areas but also made its way into my room, which was especially concerning for me. This issue overshadowed what could have been a truly exceptional stay. I strongly encourage the management to address this problem to ensure a more comfortable and enjoyable experience for future guests. Resolving this issue would make a big difference and would make me consider returning in the future.

When I first arrived there were cops on scene and anxiety in my veins. I thought, am I safe here? And then I met Fernando. He saw a hooded creeper lurking behind me through the halls and approached me to find out if I knew this lurker. Once he found out I didn’t, he escorted me to my room and made sure I was safe and sound. My phone died and my friend couldn’t find me. Panic set in. “Alexa, turn the panic up to 100%”. Did the sex trafficker from the parking lot steal me? Did the lurker offer to show me puppies and drive off with me in his trunk? She wasn’t ready to kick fake friends out of my funeral so she called the motel and a man answered; “Motel 6, this is Fernando”. He calmly listened and said “Bri, I gotchu. Hold on!” He put his hero cape on and located me to confirm I was in fact, safe. A true Branford hero. 5 gold star stickers for you. ||As for the room, needs more pillows and feels like you’re living off the grid. Good water pressure in the shower. A wonderful minimalist experience at a bargain price.

Upon arrival the light keeper that greeted me was very kind and helpfull. I think her name was kayla. Just stopped by to rest for the night. My room was good for what I needed it for the night. There was a pizza place next to the hotel with a bar so that was a plus. The meats pizza I had was good. You have to go thru the outside of the motel to get to it.

Stayed here for 4 weeks to work on an online course I’m creating. The housekeeping staff are super friendly and helpful. The team in the lobby are top notch! The location is perfect, right off 95. There’s enough room to create a little living room area which is what I did with a sofa/daybed and coffee table I ordered from Amazon along with a big fluffy rug. I very much enjoyed my stay. Would highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a longer term stay where you can create your own comfy home away from home!

We decided to stay again and had an amazing customer service experience with an employee named Fernando. He was extremely helpful, very polite, friendly, professional and went out of his way to make sure my daughter felt special. He was fast to answer any questions we had and was very knowledgeable about the property and surrounding area. Once again 5 stars without any hesitation.

My hotel room was very clean, pillows and bedding were great , checking in and out was a breeze. The young man in the front desk by the name of Fernando was super knowledgeable he told me were i could go in the area to grab a few things i needed and went out of his way to even write a few places down for me were i could go to for food. I would stay here again , great service good prices.

The worst place I have ever slept…expensive and dirty. After a busy day, I just wanted to take a shower and sleep, but the bathtub was dirty, the towels had human hair, the toilet was sticky, the floor was very dirty, the white sheets were filthy, full of hair and black stains. NEVER AGAIN,disgusting.
