Stayed here 10 days while my vehicle was in the shop 1.5 miles away. The east side of Blythe seems to have been built during the Brady bunch days or earlier.
Nice motel, cheap rooms, dog friendly, which saved a chunk of money on fees. Room was clean, with microwave, fridge, soft towels, a basic no frills room. Bed comfy, clean sheets, lower water pressure, tv, ac, ice maker, laundry, 1 set of machines, in the old pool room, no pool, small parking lot, well lit.
No real dog walking area, dog bag stand on property but there is a neighborhood behind where a pup can be walked.
Grocery stores near, dollar general a block away, lots of foot/people and traffic but no issues with that.
Staff was friendly and cleaning person always asking if I needed anything.
Would stay there again.
Great family operated Motel 6. Great value. I didn’t find much to do in Blythe; but this place was what I expected it to be and the bed was comfortable.
Positive: Location was ok Negative: Bathroom light burned out. Toilet bowl had filthy black/brown stains Floors were not clean,heater did not work! Had reservation for a king ground floor. Told at desk there were none, demanded I take 2nd floor king or pay extra for ground floor 2 qu Negative: ""
When we got to the room there was no toilet paper at all, not even on the holder in the bathroom. We also had to request a blanket since there were only sheets on the bed. The worst part was the constant construction right outside our room and in the room directly above us. The constant noise and people walking back and forth lasted till late at night and started again at 6am so we got very little sleep. The parking lot had almost no cars so we should have been assigned a room much further from the construction.
I wish we had never stayed there. I had hesitations once I saw the area it was in. I parked my car in a space located next to a driveway. The next morning, I went out to load my car, I noticed my busted tail light, and my bumper was scratched up. It appeared a vehicle with possibly a trailer hit my car. It was turning right out of the driveway, and it hit my car on the drivers side and kept going. When I brought this to the attention of the motel staff, They said they would review their security footage.
I still have not received a phone call or any other form of communication from them. DO NOT STAY HERE!
The room smelled very nasty. It looked clean, but I couldn't tolerate the smell. I was going to ask the front desk to change to another room but for $60dlrs... maybe al the hotel was in the same condition, so I just left.
For sure, not coming back.

This room wasn't awful, but I probably wouldn't stay there again. The air worked well. The parking lot was well lit at night. The toilet seat was wonky. The towels were rough, almost shop-like towels. The bed was very uncomfortable and the mattress springs were stabbing me all night. This morning, we were looking at it and the whole mattress was turned upsidedown. I don't even want to know what is hidden on the other side of the mattress.
If I could give a half star I would but. Well the room smelled weird the restroom were nasty. The area was sketchy an had people yelling an for 2 hours out side. FOUND BED BUGS. I guess u get what u pay for is what u get. NO THANK U
