Motel 6 Birmingham, AL - Medical Center - Motel in Birmingham - 4627 US-280, USA

I had a great experience at this hotel. It is in a nice area, and you don't have anybody partying and making a bunch of noise, like you do at some other similarly priced hotels. Staff was beyond friendly, especially the cleaning crew and maintenance team. I was there for a few weeks on a business assignment, and everyone went above and beyond to accommodate my needs. You do have to pay $100 deposit on check in, but the staff keeps the rooms immaculate, and my deposit was quickly returned to me upon check out. If anyone is traveling for work near Birmingham I would definitely recommend this location. If I'm ever back in town I will be staying here again.

This place has the wrong rating. It is simply amazing. (Please remember what you expect out of a motel) The room was private, clean, quiet. Parking was organized and easy to maneuver. Staff was great, cordial, pollute, friendly, helpful. I don't think they understood "service animal". But after paying extra for a "pet" deposit and extra in daily rental, my service dog was allowed with me and almost kinda sort of welcomed.

It's a decent place. I have a personal policy. Any place that does not provide restrooms for paying customers does not get a good review. I drove 4 hours and needed to urinate badly. Don't tell me there's no restroom in the lobby. I'd bet my last dollar the building was built with one. They just don't want to provide good customer service or maintain the restroom or both. Ticks me off to not l no end. I told him I'd never stay here again. I would have cancelled but #1 I had to pee and number #2 out world have cost me one night l nights stay. Not all motel 6 have this policy but they can be sure I'll never stay here again

Called to book and asked numerous times if there was a security deposit of any sort and was told no. Arrived at the property and was told there was a $100 refundable deposit, this is something that should have been stated when I spoke to the worker on the phone. Also, the entry door deadbolt doesn’t latch and the bathroom door doesn’t even have a door knob on it. No way this hotel should be able to charge $200 for one night. *Edited to add: Never have I ran out of hot water while taking a 10 minute shower until I stayed at this hotel. It was only luke warm at best to begin with. The tub drain is also clogged up. I had to shower in 6 inch deep water the whole time.

Okay so this is t the Hyatt but it will definitely do. I felt pretty safe I didn’t see people hanging around . Staff was helpful ! Only thing is I saw 2 roaches during my week stay, but also to be fair once seemed to come from outside after the rain and other seemed to come from behind the kitchenette so that’s why I gave it a 4. The front desk is SUPER HELPFUL and helped me when I had a credit card issue , especially Paul Patel . We were both on the phone with my bank . So kudos to him for his patience . Overall I give this place. A 4/5 ! Thanks Paul !

I have the app so I try to make an appointment The app was down no biggie so I called the reservation line. I also asked if the property had A security deposit numerous times and was told no once I got to the property I was told that I had to pay $100 deposit. I told him that I did not feel comfortable with that and I would like my reservation canceled. He also stated that he had moved my reservation from Motel six to studio six, and there is no refunds for the reservation. I was very angry and upset and ask for his name was told nick And there would be no refunds for the studio six since it was less than 24 hours ago a booking and cancellation. I was very upset and told him I did manage to refund due to the fact one I do not book with studio six booked with motel six and I was told by motel six reservation line multiple times at this property did not have $100 deposit. I think it’s highway robbery they’re trying to charge $200 for a room when the rooms are not even $200 rooms. I did go across the street and get a room at the Best Western for $114 no deposit

10 out of 10 recommend. I was traveling from Tennessee and just needed a cheap place to stay over night before driving home the next morning. It was so nice for the price I gave, I honestly was not expecting it to be that nice. The room was reserved for just myself and it was 70$ for that one night I believe. The front desk was beyond nice. The room was very clean the bathroom was very big and very clean the bed was huge and very clean. If I am back in Birmingham that will be my go to place. Highly recommend!

This is in a nice area close to some stores and restaurants. It's not that close to Birmingham and it's pretty quiet. It's a basic motel, nothing too fancy. Just a bed, TV, microwave, air conditioner and mini fridge. Sometimes there are issues with the shower or sinks but you can just swap rooms. The staff are always nice.
