Best motel6 I've stayed at. Rooms were no frill, but very clean. Furniture/appliances were basic — bed, TV stand/shelves, table with 1 chair, nightstands, fridge, microwave. Everything worked and was perfectly in-line with what you'd expect at a 2 star hotel. Anyone complaining must have had a bad experience with other guests or has very unreasonable expectations. If you want 3 star hotel experience then pay for it. There were absolutely no bugs at this hotel which is not a given with 2 star hotels unfortunately. Suggested improvements: power strips on both sides of the bed, touch up paint. Up to 2 pets stay free which is what makes me loyal to motel6 when traveling with my dogs. It was a little noisey in the morning when people were leaving, but not sure what else they can do to fix that. They have to have hard floors due to pets for easy cleanup and the doors were pretty thick. I never heard a single dog bark even though there were many staying in the hotel. I drove 30 minutes out of my way traveling from Maine to Virginia and I have absolutely no regrets. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone traveling with pets.

I had a wonderful experience staying at Motel 6. The check-in process was smooth and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Our room was spotlessly clean and well-maintained, with comfortable beds and plenty of space for our luggage. The Motel's location was perfect, just a short drive from the nearby university and college. One of the highlights of our stay was the exceptional customer service. The price was affordable and was best in the town. Overall, it exceeded my expectations and provided a comfortable and enjoyable stay

The first room we were given had water leaking from the ceiling. It wasn't raining, so I assume it must have been water from the bathroom of the room above. We were moved to a new room, but the new key cards didn't work. When we finally got new key cards and settled in, the room was very bare bones and spartan but it was reasonably clean and the AC worked.

Rooms could use better cleaning. Room lock is very finicky as they have become very loose and stay partially latched. Lobby smells for some reasons. Coffee station isn't filled frequently. Wifi is usable though not great.

Our visit here started out positive, as the room was spacious and clean. It was warm when we walked in at around midnight, mid August, ac at 72. Turned it down and waited, but it never got cold. By the next day when sun was up, it was becoming a sauna. Ac was turned down to 60, still nothing but slightly cool air blowing. Called maintenance, and they told me that it was blowing and working and I said it's blowing as in the fan is working but this is not cold air. I was told that it was too late to do anything, and provided a fan. Late that night, sweating and angry at this point of 2 nights and a day of misery in an extremely hot and humid room, I told management a refund for those two night should be provided and hope they would fix it for the 3rd night. I never heard anything more about reimbursement for a room with no ac, after she said she'd get back to me. The last night they must have done something to correct it as it was more pleasant. I understand mechanical issues can happen, but to provide me a fan and do nothing else to correct the fact I paid for a room with ac is not acceptable.

Based on recent reviews I decided to stay here while in town for a graduation. The room was clean, it was quiet, a nice basic room for a quick stay. The only issue was, I requested a first floor room and was not able to get one. Not a huge deal, but if you struggle with stairs keep in mind there’s no elevators. I liked that there was a mini-fridge and microwave in the room. If you just need a place to sleep at night, it’s great for the price.

Clean and comfortable room. We had all the basics we would need including cable TV with many channels. Bed and bedding was clean and comfy. Hot shower. I appreciate that it's pet friendly and my 1st floor request was accommodated. Check in was friendly and quick.

For $199 + tax (they advertise), you receive: - A late-night unexpected call from the reception at 12:45 am, disrupting your deepest sleep. - A small piece of soap and no shampoo, suitable only for washing your hands + a partially used roll of toilet paper. - Thin walls, allowing you to hear your neighbors' conversations in detail throughout the night, with no quiet hours rules - a large AC in front of your pillow so that you wake up in the morning with cold and throat sore - Towels with somebody's hair on it - a small cup of coffee for your breakfast I have to admit clean beds, but what's the point if you can't sleep after the ridiculous late night call from the staff. I advise to disconnect a phone from the wall before you go sleep
