Motel 6 Billings, MT - South - Motel in Billings - 5400 Midland Rd, USA

I really enjoyed my stay here, the staff were amazing, the room was super clean, and room service was very helpful, it has a safe location and great pricing! I would 100% recommend staying here! Andy manager is the best Edit: the manager Andy had taken my phone and typed out "Andy manager is the best" then posted my review after telling me he would give me a discount, no discount was given, he tried to charge me for more than I was paying then he eventually took the money I was refunded by the manager sierra, If anything sierra(not sure if spelling correctly) and Roxanne are WAY BETTER managers then Andy.

The man who helped us with the glasses was so incredibly helpful. He said if I rated this place we’d get a discount, overall very functional trade since we had no booking/ no where to go to that night. Only thing is the rooms are dirty, bug spray is a must. Was very much worth it for the price and excellent customer service from this motel 6, he was walking around keeping an eye on everything which made us feel very safe.

The desk clerk said if I give a good review I get discount so I did without seeing the room. The wall had a hole the size of my hand. After see the place in the daylight, this place needs a lot of work. I travel delivering busses around the nation. I have been in 25 motels in the last 2 months. This is the worst!

Hmmm… Where to start. Manager assigned me to a room. It’s doubtful that staff had even cleaned it since previous customer. The bathroom was not cleaned. There were no towels or soap at all in the room. I went down and spoke with a manager and he told me he would send housekeeping to bring towels. That never happened. Furthermore, there were light fixtures/Fans that did not have covers on them and there was junk strewn around the hallways. Also there were windows to the other rooms that has what appeared to be bullet holes in them. Needless to say, no More More Motel 6 for me.

Had to wait in the lobby for more than 30 minutes since there was no one at the front desk to check in, a lady finally arrived to the desk who was clearly under the influence of something. Told her I had a reservation, she was not able to comprehend what I was telling her, she was fumbling and pecking on the computer screen to find my reservation. She asked me for my credit card to charge a security deposit, after the card was swiped I asked to make sure this was for a refundable security deposit. She started to mumble and I had to ask her several times to get an answer, she said it was for the room and is not refundable. I asked her to cancel the transaction since I already have a reservation but she said there are no refunds and was going on a tangent about random stuff. I really did not want to deal with a person who was clearly not in the right state of mind after driving for 9 hours straight and just wanted to go to bed. So I had to forgo my reservation and the mistaken charge and go to a different hotel.

This place has the signs of foreclosure. I dont think the owner of this place really cares about what's happening here. We booked third party and was greeted kindly enough by the young man at the desk. However, the room we received was not clean. The beds had no bottom sheets. Just a top and blanket. No towels in the bathroom. Hair all over the sink and shower. Toilet bowl was sticky on every rim. Empty toilet paper roll. Unswepped floors. It was actually pretty disgusting. I've worked in hospitality myself 7 years and know the drill. We booked third party, meaning we'd play hell and take days to get a refund and this was a tight budget trip to begin with so I cleaned the room and went and bought my own towels to use. This is not a good look at all. In fact, I'd recommend avoiding this place like the plague. Even for the low price, it's just not worth it. Me and finance and friend will be updating our shots after this stay for sure.

Very happy with room and service. Excellent service by the manager Andy. It's a low budget motel, so you get what you pay for. I would stay there again.

The first thing you'll notice walking into the lobby of the Motel 6 South in Billings MT is that it smells like urine and cigarette smoke. That's the second red flag, the first being the stucco falling off the building outside. The third red flag will be the two signs on the front counter saying every customer has the option to view the room before being charged because once your card is charged they will not offer you a refund. By this third red flag I knew we were in for trouble. I opted to look at the room before paying for it, which was the right call. The floor was covered in crumbs and trash and was sticky. The walls were coated in mystery smears and splatters. Every surface in the room was dirty, from the tables to the sink and shower. There were holes in the dry wall, and the room smelled like someone had been chain smoking in there for weeks. My initial search for bedbugs came up negative, so at least there's that. The front desk lady was very kind and understanding, my guess is she deals with this a lot. The room is cheap and conveniently located right off the freeway but not worth it at all even for the one night we were passing through. Ultimately we cancelled our reservation and stayed down the street at the Days Inn where the room was actually clean and didn't smell like an ash tray.
