Motel 6 Billings, MT - North - Motel in Billings - 5353 Midland Rd, USA

The guy behind the counter was nice. However, that’s where it ended. I have been in some very unsafe situations, but this place takes the cake. The smell was overwhelming. The floors were barely holding together. The bathroom was falling apart. There is a reason they post “no refunds” all over the place. Within an hour the fire department was there. I could not get out of there fast enough. If it is possible, please pay a little more for a room somewhere else. I had to leave once the fire department showed up. It was a horrible experience after a very long horrible day. If you must stay here, bring disinfectant, a clean sheet to sleep on, and something to protect yourself. Also, the people responding to these reviews from the company have clearly been given a canned response to use and have no intention of doing anything. This place is beyond saving.

The night staff was very friendly and helpful. However the rooms weren’t ready when we got there the pictures I looked at on price line are very old and possibly from a different hotel. The hole place smelled like weed and cigarettes. Definitely did not feel like a safe environment

DON’T STAY HERE! This place is filthy. The floors were sticky and dirty despite being “just cleaned.” There were holes in the walls. No screens on the window. Spray paint on the walls in the rooms. The sheets and mattress were dirty and unwashed. There were no towels, no toilet paper, and no soap. The lobby smelled badly of marijuana and meth. I left after seeing how disgusting my room was and had to spend the night in the airport lobby because I couldn’t get another room elsewhere. It’s an absolute shame that Mote 6 allows this franchise to stay open and use their brand. Avoid this location at all costs.

I had a good experience with motel 6 north...the staff was friendly and had humorous personalities...I was there on a Friday night and it was surprisingly quiet..the room was nice and clean..the A/C worked good, good hot water in the shower. So I considered it a good deal for only around $82.00 for 1 bed. The tv remote was missing...I was able to operate it from the buttons on the side.

0/5 stars If I could!! Don’t stay here, we had the worst possible experience at a hotel EVER! I would never recommend this hotel to anyone! To start off, we waited 10+ minutes for someone to show up to the front desk and took another 10+ minutes to check us in, he gave us a room the furthest place from the front lobby and told us that there are frequent break ins so we should probably take everything from our car inside (we are traveling and had ALL of our camping gear in the car) which made us feel very uneasy. We finally get to the back of the hotel which the interior walls of the back door are completely smashed and vandalized (spray painted) and the hallway smelled heavily of smoke. We finally get to our room and our keys did not work and had to go all the way back to the front desks and he gave us a key that would open our room once. Once we entered our room it smelled strong of weed, the bed looked like someone just laid on it and there was hair and toothpaste in the sink, absolutely disgusting. Due to the smell of weed we try to open the windows but there was a peice of wood keeping them closed because the lock is broken. We booked a room with a king size bed (non-smoking) and paid extra for a fridge and there wasn’t one, just a plain full size bed with nothing extra. This is NOT what we paid for. In addition we did not receive any shower towels or soap. We don’t even think the sheets were clean. There was a hole in the wall and dirty water was leaking out of it. To add to our experience there was a group of sketchy people outside drinking and smoking late at night, we woke up and the same group was still outside. We packed up all of our stuff and went to the front desk to complain and the employee had nothing to say except “I just work here” and couldn’t do anything about it. This hotel should not be open as it is definitely not up to code. I will never stay at a motel 6 ever again! I tried contacting customer service to get a refund and have not gotten a response yet. If you are the owner and are reading this we would like a full refund asap!!

Positive: The male receptionist was very accommodating. He gave us new bedsheets, blankets, and pillowcases. Negative: When we arrived at our room, the bedsheets were filthy, and the smell in the hallways was disgusting. We could see dogs, and the hallways and stairways were dirty.

Giving 2 stars since I was at least not sleeping in a rented Kia Soul for the night. This place smells like a reptile exhibit at a zoo that should’ve closed decades ago. One room was blasting rap music at 6:30 am. Our sink and shower both barely drained. The pillows on our bed were totally flat and in stained pillow cases. The TV had one working channel. I just love watching family feud for hours on end. Our room smelled like deer ankles and cigarettes and hamster bedding. The floors in the hallways were absolutely nasty and the halls just flat out looked like I was in a clown murder house. For the love of Jesus just don’t come here.

Do. Not. Book. Here. It's not just sketchy, it's straight up dangerous. We showed up and the front desk employee had to check the state of the room before they would give us a key. It was in disturbingly bad shape, and we decided not to stay. We were at least able to cancel and had to make a last minute booking elsewhere, but do not make the same mistake we did. They are not improving this place, they are not 'addressing' past issues others have had. This place needs to be closed down. Period.
