Motel 6 Bethel, CT - Danbury - Motel in Bethel - 21 Stony Hill Rd, USA

Clean, large room with inside hallway. Handicap bathroom was helpful with railing by toilet. My only issue is that there are no railings around the tub area. Front desk lady Kimberly was friendly and very helpful for both times I've stayed here!! A small restaurant right across the street with good, affordable food!

Front desk guy wasn’t friendly at all. I asked if the did breakfast and he just said go across the street. Very unprofessional!!! The room was remodeled nice but ceiling light was missing, smoke detector is hanging from ceiling and worst of all the AC doesn’t work at all. Blows warm air. Bathroom has no amenities except towels, no soap, no shampoo, no hair dryer, no tissues. Also the room Vinyl flooring is very slippery.Also people in parking lot drinking and kind of freaky towards us when we got out of our vehicle with our bags. It almost seemed like they want to rob us. I felt very uncomfortable leaving my vehicle in parking lot. Also way too far off the highway we exited because of signs on the highway advertising for this place.

One star is one too many. Made a reservation 3 weeks in advance. Arrived to find out the motel didn't have the reservation. Even with the email confirmation they would not honor the room rate that was booked. Minimal amenities: a bar of soap. Not even a bottle of shampoo. Had to spend the night with no heat because the heating system was louder than a Boeing 747 landing. Room pictures show rooms with a fridge. Very misleading since there aren't any. Animal friendly motel so anticipated barking dogs. Won't be back here since there are 3 other options within sight.

This motel is nice I stayed here with my kids for a few days. They have helpful staff and it's very close to a lot of good restaurants and stores in the area.🔥

When dealing with Motel 6, it's always a good idea to keep your expectations pretty low. This place has some issues, but also some good points. Most locations I've been in have one thing in common - their rooms smell like someone has been smoking in them for a century even though they are designated "non-smoking" rooms. This property was a delightful surprise, in that the room was completely fresh. The location looks as though it had been recently updated, which was also nice. Cons: There's a plug plate missing in my room, which is a hazard; the toilet handle fell off and I had to put it back on to be able to flush, and the sink was running really slowly. Also, if you're a fan of hot water showers, beware. The best I could get out of my tap when I came at 10:00 at night was lukewarm; I'm guessing their water heater is not up to the task. I was hoping for a mini-fridge in the room, but this location does not provide them. Service was friendly and competent, though. I'd give the place another shot if I were traveling through Danbury again.

Somewhere between 3-4 stars. It’s been remodeled so looks cleaner. Girl in the front was so super nice, friendly. They are dog friendly and we appreciate that so much to our good girls we don’t travel without. The beds are hard as a rock, and I prefer more than just a couple sheets for bedding, I wish I would have brought my own blanket as there was not one. There is NOT fridge, microwave or coffee pot which is kind of inconvenient. We payed $111 for a weekday with nothing special going on.

Great place to stay with dogs. No Pet fees. Very reasonable room rates. Updated clean comfortable and convenient location. Plenty of grassy areas to walk your dogs. Staff are dog friendly and available at the office 24 hours daily. KC was terrific and very welcoming with the dogs and helped me change rooms when door lock was having an Issue. She took care of the problem fast. Bed was comfortable. Fridge would be nice to add. They have free coffee in morning too. One suggestion: add non caffeinated herbal tea, hot chocolate, juice, water bottles. Maybe some dog treats too. Diner is across the street and pizza parlor next door and Dunkin Donuts and Starbucks within 5 minute drive.

No ice machine , no amenities.. just 2 tiny soap that didn’t make any lather (cheap). No blow dryer and no blankets on the bed. When asked about the bedding I was told it was a 3 sheet system… What does that even mean?? My one night stay was $175 off the wall amount. I will never stay with them again.
