Motel 6 Baytown, TX - Baytown East - Motel in Baytown - 8911 N Hwy 146, USA

This Motel 6 is actually pretty great for its location. The room smelled and looked clean. The best deal for truckers who need to park their rig at the hotel in Baytown. I would have liked to give this place 5 stars but there was no microwave or fridge in the room and there was no continental breakfast but the Waffle House next door was decent. I would stay here again and recommend to truckers.

Friendly staff, front desk was amazing. We were tired, hungry and hot and she was so kind and gracious. Edit: The pool says it closes at 9:30 pm on the sign but it actually closed at 8 pm to our disappointment, however the pool was incredibly dirty and unfit to swim in anyway, no one ever came in our room to empty the trash, if you want clean towels you have to go get your own and take them your dirty towels. The stairs you climb up are dangerous, rusted out supports and are a hazard. The bathtub is so warped it is hard to stand up in it to shower. We got a free upgrade to leave a good review and the staff at the front desk in the morning was very friendly the night desk lady was not. Plan pa king an iron, ironing board, haor dryer and coffee maker because tgose things are not in your rooms.If you need a place to lay your head for a night and do not plan on doing anything but sleeping I would recommend this place but if you plan on staying a few days I would recommend going elsewhere and avoid those stairs!

Update this is a pathetic company that even when in the wrong refuse to give a refund. We paid $321.44 upfront and in full on 6/24/24 through 6/30/24 Now on 6/25 the hot water went out for the entire Motel and we were told on 6/26 by an employee that on 6/27 we could come in the morning and get a refund. Since they still had no hot water. When I went into the office on 6/27 I was informed that the hot water would be turned on at some point that day. They then told me that the owner was going on vacation, that day and would not be, giving out refunds since we stayed. This is a problem because we had to pay upfront to stay here and if you leave you cannot get your money back. If offered a refund on the first day their hot water went out we would have left. I am a disabled veteran and I need hot water. This was very unpleasant for me and caused me pain and discomfort since I got sores because I could not properly bathe for so many days. Stay away they refuse to take responsibility and refund awful company!!!

Lucky enough to get 2 rooms next to each other. One room smelt bad and we told the cleaning lady and she said she already cleaned it. One room had freaking dried boogers all over the wall and the other black mold behind the bed. Both bath tubs had cracks on the bottom of the tub and felt like it wanted to fall in. The tv's nor the wifi worked in each room. The toilets were old and all chipped with no toilet top. The pool chlorine was beyond too strong that it started to burn the skin/eyes. Only good thing about this place was the front desk Emily who was very nice. We had to leave ...it was a NO go for us ! NEVER AGAIN

ive seen reviews about roaches but there are none in the room. i guess they did a remodel or something but it worked because the rooms are modern, clean, and comfortable (ac, tv, nice big shower + tub). there are bugs OUTSIDE but there are always bugs outside so i dont care LOL the staff is friendly and gave us extra towels and stuff when we asked :3 the parking lot floods a LOT if it just rains for a little bit though, and their laundry room is a little out of order. but still very good and a nice place to stay after our house was screwed up by Beryl also pet friendly as long as your pets arent terrible and untrained

I don't even know where to begin!! First off I'm only giving this motel 1 star because it's the lowest you're allowed to leave. If I could do -5 stars believe me I would. So first off my experience here has started off horrific and what makes it even worse is I haven't even gotten into a room yet. So I reserved 1 smoking king room for today. I made it to the property at 1:30pm to check in and upon getting here the guy at the front desk stated that the room had been cleaned and was ready to check in. So he charges my card and gives me the room key and I leave to head to the room. So after I get to the door and swipe my room key I walk in and the room is in total disarray. Pizza boxes, beer bottles, trash everywhere!! The room had not been cleaned at all yet the hotel had already charges my card assuming everything had already been done. So I drive back to the office and inform the guy in the office of what happened and he then tells me " oh I apologize but it says the customer checked out but the room hasn't been cleaned yet. I'm so sorry" so apparently not all the rooms here come with a fridge and a microwave which is the first time I've ever seen this especially at a major hotel chain like Motel 6. So the guy informs me that I have to wait for housekeeping to finish cleaning before I can get a room. It is now 4:04pm and I've been here going on 3 damn hours now just waiting to get in a damn room. The other thing that's pissed me off is I'm not even gonna be getting the room I booked online he stated that he has to put me in a room with double queen size beds because housekeeping won't be able to get to the room I actually booked for at least a few hours. This has already been one of the worst experiences I've ever had at any hotel in my entire life. I can't see myself ever EEEEVVVVEEERRRRR!!!! coming back here again after what I've experienced here thus far.

My wife broke us through Priceline for one room but after arriving the desk clerk told me that they weren't able to rent me the room because my wife did not have a driver's license so I went somewhere else. Fast forward to the next morning I get charged $60 for the room. So I return to the hotel 6 and they tell me Priceline counts the reservation as a "no show" and the hotel takes my money. So be aware Priceline sets the bait and motel 6 Baytown East takes you for your money.

My stay at this hotel is an absolutely fabulous. Sam, the manager is wonderful. Amazing staffed very accommodating beautiful. Beautiful if I could get 20 stars, I would. Thank you.
