Motel 6 Bakersfield, CA - Airport - Motel in Bakersfield - 5241 Olive Tree Ct, USA

I've had stayed here before and its always been good!! The staff and security are very nice and friendly an on top of everything!! It's also gated an well watched over. Their are multiple hotels right in this same area but out of all of them motel 6 is the best and I'll continue to come back here It's always been good! 👌

I didn't feel comfortable during my stay. Good thing I was only here for one night. The electrical sockets and switches were probably smeared with toothpaste? I was afraid to touch it. The heating was full of dust and missing filters. The motel and the surrounding area did not look friendly.

Positive: It was conveniently close to my job Negative: Yes I didn?t like that the TV didn?t work and the remote even with batteries did not turn on and I couldn?t leave my room even to get ice because the door wouldn?t close

Great hospitality, excellent maintenance lovely staff, enjoyed my stay here I'm staying another night . Highly recommended. I could love here if I had to. Tina's very understanding and manages to work with you not against you.5 out 5 star ratings in my books

You know it’s kind of sad, back in the 80s and 90s Motel sixes were an OK choice for hotel or motel. Can’t you imagine your no-nonsense workaholic father having to go out of town for a family reunion or something and him and your mom staying in motel six and as long as had clean sheets and ice TV they were happy. Nothing to brag about but nothing to be ashamed of either. Well if you’ve read any of my recent reviews you’ll see it seems like Motel 6 is in a contest to see who can suck the most among themselves. This one is no difference. You have to pay for ice here… This is the first for paying for ice. The rooms were by far the most bare bones of them all that I’ve been in so far. No, no refrigerator, no lights except for the overhead. No sheets. But then I guess when you look outside in the parking lot seeing homeless people camped out in the gated community that is this particular motel six, Your sense of wonder and feeling vaguely unclean makes sense. But hey, they do have smoking room so that’s a plus if you’re a smoker. Of course no ashtrays. The pool looks extremely inviting… If you’re an amphibian. I’m sure it’s all the talk among the frog community.

Vanessa is awesome at the front she gets her job done always. She can be bitchy, but that don't matter because she gets her job done and correctly. Honestly i think she straightened up alot of things there and cleaned it up. I think everyone is great at the front selina is awesome too and tina she is awesome.

Must be a bad location, because all the parking and rooms are behind automatic gates. The entrance gate opens only halfway, which is barely enough for one car. The exit gate doesn't work, and this information was not shared with me until I called the front desk. Finally, when I checked in Clifton, the agent at the desk parked his car in the only disabled parking spot near the entrance. Very disrespectful. He didn't even apologize for inconveniencing me. The room recently received a facelift, new furniture, and no more orange. The bathroom had a bug crawl under the toilet. Update: "After reading your review, We're disappointed to learn that we fell short of your expectations. We're constantly trying to improve." is a phrase that appears in response to many Motel 6 reviews. "We'll leave the light on" should be replaced with "We're constantly trying to improve".

Best service I have had in a long time the staff and owner are Super nice quite and the rooms are very clean and nice
