The clerks were great, super polite. I think the girl was in training, but I have 0 compliants with the service we received. The remote in our room didn't work unless you stood directly in front of the TV, but that's a minor issue. The biggest compliant was how hard the bed was, and an extra pillow would have been great, but for $60, it was super clean and didn't smell, and there were no bed bugs.
Unless you like to sleep on granite slabs instead of bed mattresses, just don't. Even if you DO, make sure you don't care about literally anything else. I've had paper towels softer and more absorbent than their bath towels. No breakfast at all. Not even like.. the basics. Oh complimentary coffee in the lobby? Not at 6am. Not at 7am. When DOES the coffee get made? They think since there's a Starbucks next door that's sufficient but if that's the case they need to lower the price here. Bath tub had no way of stopping it from draining to take a bath. The shower head was from the 1700s. The toilet sat about an inch off the ground, hope you don't have bad knees! The microwave was missing the glass plate inside, when we asked for one, we never heard back. For two days. No coffee maker in the room either. No Do Not Disturb sign. And again, the beds are literal concrete. It's a super thin, queen-sized "mattress" on a flat plank of wood. I'm 300 lbs and I didn't even sink an inch into this mattress. Just go elsewhere. This place is NOT worth the money. It's a $30 roach motel at best.
Clean, nice bed and Stacy was amazing ( I want to marry her! :) I have stayed in many 5 star hotels and suites and the bed here was just as comfortable! Please call me Stacy if you are intrested?
not as stated by website or Motel 6 staff; there was no mini frig or microwave in room or available in any room at this Motel 6, but that is not what staff stated prior to payment. there were plumbing issues that were not resolved. couldn't use tub/shower & toilet backed up. not recommending this Motel 6 and won't be returning.
I didn't have high expectations when I booked a room here, but I didn't expect to have my reservation lost and then get drastically overcharged! I'm trying to get the excess charges back, but despite that, there were other issues. I think there was an animal trapped in the wall in the bathroom, clawing at the bathtub plumbing trying to get out. When I tapped on the wall, it stopped, then started again. I had to put earplugs in my ears in order to sleep. I think next time, I'll spend a little more money elsewhere and not have these hassles.
If I could give this place seven stars, I would. Chris and his manager are spot-on in guest service—above-and-beyond, self-motivated actions you should expect from Texans, but sadly can’t expect from many others. Keep serving, brother; your reward awaits you!
Stayed here one night March 28th, 2024. There were cigarette burns in the blanket, the tub drained poorly and we were charged $75 for an incidental hold that we are now fighting to get back. Had to get corporate involved. We’ve always had great experiences with motel 6 but will tell everyone to avoid this one like the plague.
Not the type of Motel 6 that you remember. They have always been pretty basic, but this one is really bad. Check in went well and the guy at the desk was nice. (The only reason for 2 stars instead of 1 star.) Place is overall rundown and dirty. Our room didn't have pillow cases or towels, only one wash rag. Pillows were old and yellow.There was what appeared to be a pretty big poop stain on the sheet. Luckily for us we weren't actually staying here we just needed the shower because our well went out. I know they are cheap but if you're able you should really stay somewhere else. I guarantee you the reviews for this place that are 5 stars are not real, probably padded by the management or owner.
