Do not book with thus hotel...no matter the price. I have had no end of problems. First it took 3 rooms before we got one. The first one was occupied, the 2nd one was dirty, the 3rd one was at least some what clean. Issues with the third room. First we had to go back and ask for towels. Don't think you'll get wash clothes, the don't have any. There were no trash cans. I had trash bags in the car thank God. There was no remote for the TV and the office staff couldn't provide one. Excuses all around. It's a good thing that my kids and I weren't in the room the whole day. That would have not been enjoyable. Found a needle top in our room that must have been under the bed that they didn't clean. Only one 3 lights in the room worked and some of the outlets didn't work. They state they have 24 hour security but you wouldn't know it with the amount of drug deals and druggies hanging out all around the place. There were allot of homeless as well. Had one offer me a room for $10. We are switching hotels for the last week of our stay. I have gotta keep us safe and the Motel 6 is not the one to be safe at.

There were no towels, no blanket on the bed, no trashcan, footprints across the bed, garbage on a night stand, a bandana hanging off of a lamp, somebody threw a drink against a wall and they didn't clean it, and the A/C didn't work. Oh and the drapes didn't close all the way. By far the worst hotel room I've ever seen. There were people in the parking lot doing drugs. When we went to the office to complain the desk clerk said "everyone is entitled to their own opinion" and just looked at us. We got a refund and left.

Supposed to be 2 queen beds but it's 2 full beds with no blankets or top sheets. No towels available most of the time. Sink is clogged and no cleaning service to be found. Purchased my own cleaning supplies, towels, blankets, etc. One night it's $50 then $60. Asked the night clerk for some cold water from the dispenser in the office and was told NO! Homeless and drug use is all over the property. I am in a bad situation after losing my wife and had to stay here longer than intended, but will never do it again.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Take heed of the reviews regarding junkies and homeless people. The place is literally crawling with them. No towels, no soap, no wastebasket, no ice machine. Our first room did have a TV, however, the plug didn't reach the outlet, so they moved us next door. That room had a broken door and took 3 trips to the lobby to rectify. Once in, i found no refrigerator, no microwave, no hot water from the sink, also no towels, no soap and no wastebasket. When I asked for a trashcan at the front desk, I was told they would send one up soon. They never did. Obviously, based on the previous reviews, he straight up lied to my face. Moreover, the mattress was full of holes with razor sharp springs cutting into my skin. I tried to flip it and was horrified to find the opposite side heavily stained with a 2 foot bloodstain! After driving a 15 hour day in 100° weather I just wanted a shower, a clean bed and cold drink. I didn't get anything i agreed to when I made the reservation. Even for a budget motel, I was completely ripped off. I should have slept in my car. I see the "management" has responded with similar rote apologies, yet the owner has done nothing to improve the facility. It's apparent that motel 6 has sold out to inexperienced and/or greedy franchisers who have no interest in investing and maintaining their properties, just the quick turn of a buck. Motel 6 used to be a trusted brand that catered to families vacationing on a budget. No more. Now they cater to junkies and thieves looking for a cheap place to shoot up. I'm disgusted and embarrassed for them. This place is unsafe, filthy, and dilapidated. BEWARE.

Booked this hotel for my mom while she was driving home, she said tons of weird sketchy people, no towels, door didn’t open. She got a new room cause the e AC wasn’t working and it’s 100° out. Got a new room that the door didn’t lock. Felt bad and didn’t want her to stay. Looks like I should’ve read the reviews cause this place sounds disgusting. This is totally unacceptable. I didn’t want her to sleep on her car but this sounds so much worse. Awful, stay away if possible

Never go to this motel! We wanted to rent a hotel after a 13 hour drive. This was the cheapest. We got to our room and the key card to open the door didn't work. Went to the lobby 3 different times they ended up giving us a different room. This room was horrible. There were stains everywhere, graffiti on the med, illegal narcotics on the counter and cigarette burn holes on the mattress and the ac didn't work worth a dam. Also there were a bunch of meth addicts and hookers outside on the side walk. The doors looked like they were broken into at one point. We went back to the lobby and got our money back and stayed at a nicer hotel up the block a bit. It was worth the extra money. Don't stay at this motel 6!

This is the worst hotel I've stayed at here in ABQ. Broken TV, no towels, no bathroom tissue, no soap just to name a few points of all things bad about this hotel. Plus, you have to deal with people who stay in those rooms for a long term and last but not least you gotta deal with homeless people as well.

HEED the reviews of this motel!! For perspective on the surrounding area, I pulled into the lot while an investigation was taking place within the lot. I've slept in dirt holes that I've made myself with more accommodations. You will not like the first room you're offered. You will not like the second room offered. You will eventually give up and accept an also poorly maintained room, assuming you haven't demanded a refund. There's an 80% chance your door will have structural damage from a previous loyal customer, 50% chance you will have a remote and/or pillows (no they dont have spares they will have you get them from another room, by yourself), and 0% chance of changing the brightness on the TV. I'd advise bringing your own sheets, but it's more appropriate to advise bringing your own mattress. Of the 2 employees I met, neither of them were housekeeping. The maintenance person generously offered to fix the leaky shower spout but then claimed the part required wasn't on site and never followed up on the repair. Consequently, the hot water leaking out makes the bathroom humid and will likely lead to mildew they also won't address. INB4 generic response with zero follow-up on the issues they likely hear daily. Don't bother apologizing, motel sh6. This only acts as a warning to others Ps. You didn't even have the self integrity to put your name within the unprompted apology, "Hotel Manager". Stop pretending you have ambition 😐

Absolutely loved my stay at the Desert Compass! The property is beautiful and very well kept. I stayed in the Rattlesnake Suite and it was so cozy, welcoming, and clean. The private/gated parking provided me with peace of mind. I would definitely boo
