Motel 6 - Motel in Front Royal - 141 W 15th St, USA

Absolutely the worst place I stayed. I will admit the room looked decent at first glance, until you realize you have unwanted visitors like......ROACHES, yes I said roaches. When my husband told the front desk she replied "oh we have an exterminator scheduled soon", she also said she would "talk to management about a possible partial refund". Yea I don't expect to see any refund. I didn't even want to give this place a 1 star however you have to give something to do a review. Go stay somewhere else!!!!!!!

Staff wanted to do nothing but nickel and dime you. First off I wanted to check in early, and my app said there was no charge for early check in. My check in on my app said 2:00 p.m. they clearly said 3:00 p.m. their policy is $150 deposit My app said no deposit. When I showed them they still wanted to charge me for early check in when there were about 35 to 40 rooms wide open with no issues. They could have easily, especially considering my medical condition which they could clearly see when I walked in the door, accommodated an hour check-in when the bill was already paid. Once I realized they were a nickel and dime establishment and nickel and diming you to death over certain things here and there I decided to cancel my reservation. I would rather pay more at a better place. Then I got "I'm sorry we can't refund your money because you didn't pay us" excuse me how are you getting money then??? There is a way for you to request a cancellation of an appointment and request my money back. Granted it may have been days that I got a refund back but that was okay. There was zero hospitality and there were so many workers just standing around doing absolutely nothing at 3:00 in the afternoon. I do not recommend this facility Please just upgrade to a few dollars more. You will not be sorry. I stayed at another facility close by and paid maybe $10 more and was over the moon estatic. Don't waste your time.

Came to this hotel after booking online. Right off the get-go was told I had to pay a fee for checking in early. I immediately left pulled up my reservation which clearly showed there was no early reservation fee I was supposed to be charged, the check-in date and time were incorrect in their system not mine, and when I went back in and showed them the check-in time she said she was still going to charge me for early check in. I said you're going to nickel and dime me, she could clearly see that I was not in the best of health and desperately needed to lie down but wanted to nickel and dime me to death over this and that. The staff clearly do not care about anything but a buck. The almighty dollar. I sat back and watched six employees just standing around doing nothing. The rooms were vacant except for maybe 10 rooms. What possibly could they have gained by charging me in early check in, when other motel 6's do not and when my app clearly said they do not. They also indicated there was $150 deposit required which my application said there was no deposit required and no credit card required to be on file. Again, they didn't want to honor these sites that they work with. Then when I said I'll stay someplace else Can you please process my refund I received "We didn't get your money so we can't do the refund". Excuse me so you're renting out rooms for free to someone else and I'm paying someone else that makes no sense. Now I could understand if it would have taken a couple of weeks to reprocess my money back not an issue but that was not even given to me as an option. She could clearly see that I was upset, sick, and desperately desperately needed to rest. That was not even close to being on her radar. I found the staff rude and disingenuous. And for a few dollars more literally a few dollars more I went right up the street got immediately in with no issues and had the best day of my life. I do not recommend this hotel. Buyer beware stay away take your family your pets yourself to some place that actually gives a crap because this place does not. I never leave reviews. But I was so distraught over this situation that I not only went on the website that I purchased and left a review but found every single other venue to leave a review for as well. That is how terrible this situation was. Again if I had not been ill in dire need of sleep so that I could be okay It would be different. She clearly saw and I wasn't trying to hide it how very ill I was. Didnt matter Go somewhere else

No option to request first floor room 4 handicap person. Receptionist was rude set up the rooms available were on the second floor. I was having a nervous breakdown and went to the motel to get some peace and quiet. She managed to get me a first floor room but acted like it was big in the convenience for her. She said no visitors number 2 queen size beds I guess she thought I was going to sneak someone in there. When I was actually by myself and didn't want nobody to know where I was. The bathroom door shuts but the handle jams up like the door is locked. I had a panic attack because I didn't think I could get out and there was no way to contact anybody. There was no hot water in the bathroom. I stayed four days contact them on the first day to tell them I had no hot water. They did not fix until the third day. And the fix was turn on the hot water in the sink in the bathtub flush the toilet twice then you would have hot water. A receptionist was very rude when I tried to call everyday can't get that water run so I can take a shower. But the maintenance man was very kind and young man. Kind of feel sorry for him having to work with such a rude employees. The beds hard as a rock a refrigerator freezer was frozen up an air conditioner didn't turn on until the room was very hot. Microwave and countertop what's clearly not cleaned. Scraped food off the countertop with my fingernails. I guess they don't have housekeeping cuz nobody ever showed up to clean the room. Would never recommend anyone staying here. Horrible and not worth the money.

Rooms are clean. Service is exceptional. Owners are very sweet and helpful and work with you if you need it. I would definitely refer anybody here. Not to mention the great prices!

I love Front Royal because it’s right at Shenandoah National Park and this Motel 6 was so great. The room was great and the staff were really nice. We will be staying again I. October.

We used to come here twice a year. The New management is terrible and leaves much to be desired. The staff is rude. The new owners are rude. Beds are uncomfortable, bugs in the room, takes forever to get hot water. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE IF YOU Want a clean room with friendly staff. We will NEVER COME HERE AGAIN!!!!!!

Why can't I give 100 stars for service? I am a disability that makes it hard for me to walk out climb stairs and it must have been apparent to Trish, who was working the night I came hobbling in. I had reserved a smoking room, which are all on the 2nd floor, which I'm used to. She felt very bad for me as they don't have an elevator. Hey, I'm used to it... Lol. If you want to smoke cigarettes in this day and age, you have to suffer through a few inconveniences. Anyhow, to make it short and sweet, Trish pulled out her Harry Potter wand and by the time I had driven around the back of the motel to where my room was, she was back there. She had made accommodations for me that worked out terrifically. Thank you Trish! You are a true sweetheart!
