First time here and dang these dishes are great! Picked up the Smoked Salmon Rangoons for the app with the sweet chili sauce. The Black Garlic Steak on a bed of Basil Pea Puree was perfectly cooked and just melts so smoothly on every bite. Also the Pork Belly Yakisoba was extremely filling and flavorful!

Best steak I’ve ever had and I’m a huge steak fan. The black garlic steak is divine, it melts in your mouth and the way the pesto and kimchi work so well together with the steak and rice is a whole experience. And the prices are great. 10/10 recommend

If you’re craving delicious ramen, various small plates, and delicious tea—then don’t skip on this place. This is simply some of the best ramen I’ve ever had. My roommate travels to Japan for work often and tells me that this is his go-to place to reminisce on Japanese cuisine. They have delicious appetizers, namely the brussel sprouts and gyoza. Their hojicha tea is also so amazing, if you don’t know what that is—it’s a roasted Japanese green tea that’s roasted in a porcelain pot over charcoal. I’ve tried quite a few ramen bars and this one always keeps me coming back. The staff are also all very friendly, speedy service, and the restaurant has a cozy vibe. I’ve been here +10x and I’ll continue coming back. As of this review - They do 25% off their beer, cider, wine, some mixed drinks, and small plates for Happy Hour from 2p-6p every day and $12 Tonkotsu all day on Tuesdays. Add an extra egg, spinach gomae, and/or chashu to make something good, even better.

We made the trip down to Tacoma from Seattle for a late afternoon adventure and decided to make Moshi Ramen Bar our first stop. A Saturday happy hour? Yes please! It's a comfortable and welcoming gem of a place. The staff was very friendly, the atmosphere was chill, the cocktails were tasty, and the food was phenomenal. We ordered three selections from the small plates menu to share, and let me tell you, they didn't skimp on the portions. As two ladies who love delicious food we'll definitely be going back to try more dishes! If you haven't been...GO!

Went here for the first time. Very busy. Still received good service in a timely fashion. Food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the Chicken Shio Ramen (shio seasoned chicken broth ramen served over thick wavy noodles topped with chicken chashu, menma, scallion, sesame) I added with onsen mushrooms and tofu, as well as a bowl of miso soup. Portions were big. Food was hot and well prepared very well made broth. Best miso soup I have ever had. I will definitely be coming back to try there other dishes which will be scrumptious as well. HAPPY HOUR 2PM-6PM

This place was so delicious! The shrimp toast was my favorite thing I ate! Also, the short ribs in the ramen were so tender and tasty. They had different anime shows playing which was so fun and went with the anime decor in the restaurant.

update: i come here all the time, and both the food and quality of service are always top notch & consistent. try the matcha mule. the loco moco was also a fun and different twist on a classic. never disappoints! this is my favorite asian restaurant in tacoma. great ramen, dumplings, and drinks.

Really nice place with good vibes and staff. I got the short rib ramen and it was just okay. The broth was pretty basic but the noodles and short rib were really nice. The menma to me just seemed a little too hard and had a weird marinade.
