We had take out from Mo’s Seafood & Chowder restaurant. Ordering was a breeze with their online option. I’ve been craving chowder soup since I got to town and it did not disappoint. The food was delicious and very good portion. Mo’s is right on the water and unlike other businesses down town, there’s plenty of parking spots which is a plus. We shared the bread bowl clam chowder with bay shrimps, it was so tasty and we also shared the clam strips, everything cooked to perfection. Would definitely recommend.
You want to know the secret of the clam chowder? Lots and lots of Butter and a dusting of paprika, that's it. The fish is alright. It's nothing special that you can't get other places, with nearly everything offered being deep-fried. The turf side of the menu could be much better prepared, with undercooked (rare) ground beef and still raw, all white-fat bacon being served on a non-busy Sunday. The staff was excellent, but the food needs serious oversight for quality. The view is the best thing about this place. Don't think I'll visit this, or any other Mo's, down the coast, again.
We stopped in here about a week ago for dinner. I tried the combo platter and also the clam chowder. The clam chowder was very good! I really liked the clam strips and shrimp on the combo platter but the fish seemed a little dry and bland. My dad tried the fish and chips and said it was good. My mom tried the fish tacos and liked them. Overall, it was a fun experience and we had a good time.
Was really impressed with this place! Nice to get good fish and chips with great views of the Columbia River. My wife and I shared the large bowl of “Our clam chowder” that was really delicious. Both of us got the beer batter halibut fish and chips that comes with fries BUT you also can choose a side of clam chowder, Or salad with little shrimp. We of course got the salad since we already were going to share that Large clam chowder. I liked the beer choices on tap and what they had on the pint glass was AWESOME (so I bought one). I will DEFINITELY be back here if in the area!!
We had lunch here- good, fast service with a view. This is a casual restaurant with seating looking out to the busy Columbia River. A shrimp salad, grilled salmon, chowder (of course) and desert - were the choices for us, the chowder was my favorite - just right (not to rich). In the building is a commercial chowder operation, which you can view through windows.
During our vacation we tried six different chowders. This was truly our favorite. Different was the slab of butter on top savory and delicious. The consistency was on par while the flavor was perfectly balanced with bacon and potatoes as to not to overtake the clams. As we dined at the river we enjoyed our view of the barges and ships. Even sighting a family of seals. Everything down to the cobbler was enjoyable. Other than asking for utensils and refills we loved the visit. The store was loaded with picture perfect opportunities and a quaint gift shop. The childrens favorite part were the windows allowing for a sneak peak of the chef preparing the chowder.
Not too bad. The drink was very strong which is great but the fetichini alfredo sauce seemed like it was white gravy. Super fun to sit outside!
Great customer service. Allows dogs on the patio sitting. Chowder above average. Fish tacos were good. Combo platter was ok, fries and shrimp was good, but cod was average. Clam strips, some was just batter. Good view from the patio seating.
This absolutely charming wine shop/bar is an easy detour off the River Walk or a short stroll from the cruise ship dock. We thoroughly enjoyed the expert advice of the talented owner, Lisa, and savored several glasses of delicious wine on our beautif
Awesome service. Dwayne knows his beer. Always something good on tap. Great selection of other beverages as well. If you like board games thereâs an area in back with plenty. If you are in Astoria this is a must go to spot!
Our experience at Dead Manâs Isle was outstanding! Jamie and Toni went above and beyond, giving us the best tiki bar experience. DMI ranks at the top of our tiki bar rankings, weâve been to quite a few and this one stands out. Toni made drinks th

What a great find!! We had the ceviche (habanero hot) and surf and turf bowl both were delicious and full of flavor. Highly recommend. The woman who took our order and prepared our food was so nice. Very clean outside area to eat but you can also sit
My cousin got me hooked on this place. I donât like waffles but the berries and cream waffle is hands down the best thing Iâve ever tried. If this place were open all day I would eat them for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The waffles are crunchy a
Coffee Girl is located at the end of a pier on the Columbia river. I can not think of a better place to drink hot beverages on a cold wet day in Oregon. The food and beverages are great but the coffee shop is a bit confusing to find if itâs your fi
These folks are just plain good, I love the smell of the shop and all of the artsy stuff that they've got all over the place. I love the bulk stuff, I buy all of my caps here. If you want help just let them know what you want and they can weigh it fo
Super fat burritos, very nice customer service. Worth the money, a little less costly than fast food by a few dollars. Portions are far larger than anticipated, service is good.
Such a neat old theater, it was a very cool thing to explore and the details in the place are absolutely incredible. Definitely recommend as a place to spend some time in on a trip!
