Great beach, easy access, lots of sand, not many rocks and shells, a few sand dollars. Great sunset view on clearish days.
One of the best scenery point in pacific post highway which you shouldn't miss. The beach is OK, not the best, but the rocks are gorgeous and the best place to view the sunset. Numerous birds there too, which is quite fun to get close to them. Parking is free and there is a lot on the bank. Definitely it worth to stop by and have fun.
Born and raised in the central coast and it always amazes me how beautiful the Morro Rock is 😊 it was a beautiful clear day. Not busy at all and there was plenty of parking. Park at the fish market and walk towards the rock for a great view.
Gorgeous beach and great facilities nearby.
Walked out here in the fog and rain and got a chance to see really big waves for the surfers which I didn't know waves got that big out here. It's a nice looking beach and I would definitely consider going here again. Odd thing of note, when we were here we were serenaded by someone playing the bagpipes. I don't know if this is a local thing because I don't go up to Morro Bay very often, but it's just an interesting thing to note.
Stopped by for the wsl longboard competition..was impressed with the break..
Amazing visit and its free :)
Walk out to the south side all the way back and there's tons of rock all stacked up and its really cool to see :)
Went on a charter fishing trip and saw the rock from a whole new perspective, was a cool experience 😎
Beautiful place and a fun visit
Absolutely beautiful during sunset. Great beach to take a long walk on or to bring your camera for pictures
We stayed in room 207, a king with patio in this cute boutique inn. It was clean, modern, large bathroom and comfy memory foam bed. Our room didn't face the water, which was OK, it had a pation with a couch, chairs and a fire table, which we used at
I was visiting my friends, who live in Morro Bay. We decided to hit up Del Mar Park for their first pickleball experience. Despite a busy morning and a wait to get on the court, everyone we met was incredibly friendly. We began in the beginners' cour
We were on our winding way down HWY 1, from ragged point to San Luis Obispo. We called into shine, they answered the phone with a bright attitude ð. We placed our order for fresh tasty vegan specials and ate it over by the Docks. Very impressed wi
Morro Bay Maritime Museum. This place is my favorite place. There was no fee but the place was amazing. It had a lot of boats and boat-related stuff ð¶. On one of the boats, you could go inside the engine inside the boat and have a good look at it.
