There is occasionally magic and mystery underneath the Morrison Bridge, and I am honored to be invited to review this scenic highlight of Portland, Oregon. Known for seismic instability, frequently closed lanes and death deifying highway on ramps. This bridge is must see for any Portland visitor. Catch it now before it collapses completely in the upcoming Cascadia subduction zone event!
Construction is way too long. Traffic is bad every single day. People were driving very rudely. Homeless people are everywhere. 2016 I came to Portland area from Washington DC. That time Portland was beautiful, clean, cute and amazing city. Even when I walk at 2-3am around in Portland I wasn’t scared at all. Now days different story. I can’t walk or jog anymore with my phone over midnight. Sometimes I don’t want to go by myself. Kinda sad. Who has the responsibility to clean this city, bridge… and drugs.. so sad and painful. I was sick and tired of Washington DC, Boltimore MD and ghetto places in East Coast. But Portland isn’t different than there. So Sad.. but still beautiful night views.
Pretty cool when the bridge is closed to vehicles and you can sit on the crash barrier and watch fireworks.
Morrison Bridge in Portland, Oregon, is a cool bridge. It has the older architecture, and there have been very few times I have seen a bridge raise for the ships and barges that run up and down this river. With the cargo that is unloaded off of these enormous ships, one would think they would run aground, but these are not your average rivers. This is the Willamette River Valley, and it's awesome. As always, leave it better than you found it and enjoy 😉
The bridge is lit in the colors of the Israeli flag (blue and white) in support of Israel after the massacre of Hamas terrorism.
It was the first time I've seen any bridge go up. The night was beautiful and it was so interesting to witness
One of the many bridges of Portland. Not as old as the Hawthorne and Burnside but still nice to look at especially at night.
Not a great commuter bridge. This span has undergone numerous (emergency) repairs over the past decade. While that has settled down (I think), it continues to lack in good ramp access and connections on both ends. On the plus side, it has a funky spiral down to the Eastside Esplanade. Take the Hawthorne or Steel bridges as alternatives.
Always a beautiful place to visit right at sunrise or even at sunset. Spectacular views of the north end of downtown Portland, the industrial area businesses along OR Hwy 30 and the Willamette River, and the very photogenic Cathedral Park just under
This historic bridge is featured in the opening credits of the TV show Portlandia. A lot of thought went into the design of the bridge from the garden areas on the four corners of the bridge, to the four seating - rest areas, to the architecture of
Built in 1926, the centrally located Burnside Bridge has the same architect as the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco! So it is stylish and functional! There are great views as you travel across it, including views of the Steel Bridge and of the Ma
I love this spot. They have one of the best cappuccinos in Portland. The staff is always kind, and friendly. And the tunes are always on point. Pro tip: ask for sugar crunchies on your capp. You wonât regret it!
Lexie is everything youâd want in a trainer. Smart, funny, and down to earth, but also tough enough to keep you motivated. Iâve been working with her for a year and a half and Iâve made significant progress in terms of strength and mobility. Iâ

I absolutely loved this spot!! We stumbled upon it after picking up some food from the Cart Blocks trucks. We were welcomed in with our food and purchased a glass of wine to enjoy with our food on the top deck. The atmosphere is so lovely! The serve
Yoga Refuge serves as the most accessible studio to those of us living in invisible Portland (east of 205) and attracts a committed and adventurous crowd of practitioners. I have practiced here for over a year now. The people and the space provide me
Best gym ever!!! I have been attending classes at PDX strength for years, they are challenging but scalable, and the environment is supportive, noncompetitive, and fun. I have recently started personal training sessions with Jocelyn and have made a

This place is fantastic. This was our first visit. The customer ahead of us was giddy to recommend their house made vanilla syrup for our coffee drink and the âwicked awesomeâ sandwich. We arenât vegetarians but he was so insistent that we chan
Awesome facility and located 5 minutes away. It was easy to find, although I wish it had a Risio sign outside. Their website was nice to navigate through and book a drop in session. Margaret the owner communicates and follows through and she looks li
