I remembered eating here years ago with my family. We happened to be in town and decided to give it a try. The taxidermy was a really cool thing to see again. The food was awesome! It was Saturday night so things were a little slow but we expected that in a pretty busy but not corporate kind of place. I got the turkey club, it was fantastic. My husband got a Reuben and it was also really good! The fresh cut fries were perfect and once we ordered the food didn't take long to come out, it was just waiting for our order to be taken that took a minute. This was also incredibly affordable! We got quite a bit of food at a great price!

I was excited to try this place. My husband and I drove by many times, but never at meal time. The restaurant itself is very nice. Our waitress was super friendly and attentive. I wasn't crazy about the food, however. My husband got a pizza (the Pig Out), and he loved it. I wasn't crazy about it myself. I couldn't put my finger on what it was I didn't like. Everyone is different, I guess. I have to say they don't skimp on the toppings. The crust is thin and crispy, and toppings are all the way to the edge. I had a fish sandwich and did not like it. The fish itself was ok, but the bun was stale and fell apart, and the tartar sauce was terrible. They do not put that on the side like most places. So if you're unsure...ask for it on the side. The fries are excellent (fresh cut), and we were very pleased with the fried green beans. I would like to go back and give them another try.

After years of stopping in from out of town, took my family here for dinner. Had a party of nine and got order in when the kitchen opened. After waitresses bringing the wrong orders, every ten minutes or so, then taking them back to correct them, after an hour of this the last person got his food when everyone else was pretty much done. Food ok except fries were over done dry and crisp. Staff was not courteous or polite, acted as if it was their first day on the job.

Nice environment, waitresses were timely and friendly. The wing sauces were excellent, but the wings were small and overcooked. They had a great selection of beers on tap. Stella and Fat tire (two personal favorites), very rare for this area. I have spoken to other patrons and they had expressed how good their pizza is. I will update this after I try it.

The quality of food was decent I won't knock that. However when it took 10 minutes in a nearly empty restaurant with over an hour and a half till closing to get even a drink ordered. A further 10 minutes to get a server to take our order. An overall almost 2 hours for 2 people to get out of there. It was unbelievable, the menu is absolutely tiny with almost no variety or options. You have sandwiches and salads that's about it. Nothing else to choose from. I was very disappointed in the experience overall.

We ordered appetizers and split a gob. The food was ok. The fried pickles almost had too much batter, which in return held more grease. The gob definitely made up for the mediocre appetizers. Our server was friendly/nice, but she forgot one member of our party's order and seemed angry with us when she assumed the party of 6 was all one check.

Not a big fan of taxidermy, but the decor was cute! The fried green beans were excellent!!

Most unique bar I have been in. Great pizza and friendly central Pa. people. Jess our bartender was on the spot. If you have ever hunted, want to hunt or have an appreciation and respect for wildlife conservation this is a must stop.

I couldn’t recommend The Haunted Acres more! The parking situation was easy to maneuver and very organized. The house and trail themselves were genuinely scary and super fun! I lost my keys along the trail and didn’t realize until I got home. I g
