Great location, but you definitely get what you pay for. The rooms weren't overly clean, you could see spills and discoloration on the walls. Didn't have any garbage bins in our room, and only had 2 tiny pillows on the beds

If there were no stars be my choice the staff was ruled judgemental and unprofessional. The only one was nice was the person who checked us in rest stay was unbearable so the price is that way for a reason for happy bed bugs. If tour thinking about hereI hope you reread

On arrival my partner and I are greeted by a woman in a hoodie covered in paint, It was at this moment I wondered what we were getting into. The room was run down and the floor was lumpy, how does this happen? Nightstand surfaces were dirty with sticky food and drink from previous patrons. I believe in giving credit where it is due, the bed was very comfortable, sheets were clean and no bed bugs (I checked.) We politely asked in the am for a late check out as we had arrived at 2 am from a flight overseas to which we were quoted $50/ per hour. In a hurry jumped out of bed and checked out. The house keeper was super nice on the way out, her shirt said "chill out and get over it." Fitting for this experience. In my opinion.. If you've ever wished you could sleep in a set for the TV show "Cop's" then you can fulfill that dream here. I do plan on contacting expedia and asking them to check past the few stellar reviews to see the real story here.

I am publicly known for my observation- based "fair is fair as square is square, triangular is unto itself & round be round" reviews. I do my utmost to follow the simple yet difficult principle of subtracting personal emotions from my holy opinion; especially when dealing with the business community throughout Whatcom county. Oh, & I humbly use the word 'holy' only because you choose to read this & it very well could augment or diminish your opinion. Now, let's move on to the MORNING GLORY Hotel 🛍️: The rooms are typical for a lower to mid -level room or structure averaging $80 per night complete with a fairly well put together hot K breakfast. In the room that you may potentially be renting is a bathroom (tub style shower 🚿 & single toilet 🚽 🪠) as well as a long shelf - style sink with hot & cold water - all plumbing working correctly. A word to the wise (those who read my reviews know that I am honest & absolutely tell it like it is, especially when it comes to Whatcom county & its hotel/motel owners who have chosen to forget that YOU are the reason that THEY are in business: when you spend your hard or softly earned money to rent a room be it for one night or for a week, it's Nobodies business who you are or your visitors may be. Now for the wannabe skeptic or the plain idiot, I must state the following: if severely loud noises or damaging in progress to the room occurre, or people arguing out in the parking lot at the height of their lungs should take place, then of course something different must be done. Common sense is a must in this town if you dare stay at one of many hotels owned by the owners who have a completely different agenda then hospitality, which should be their main focus. Aside from the other diaper wearing hotels in this town, the Morning Glory sports an actual pool and jacuzzi, both are outdoors, but hey, they actually have warm water in them and are very clean. The Morning Glory in my opinion has all of the physical attributes that you'd expect in a hotel of this stature. Let me know what your experience is, or was for that matter. Positive: There was someone above us that kept us awake all night when I called to the front desk they said there was no one in that room. So when we checked out in the morning I spoke to the lady and she kept saying that there is no one in that room. Negative: They don't listen to their customers. And when I asked to speak to the manager I was thrown a business card and told he would be available on Monday. I am really not impressed with this hotel. Negative: ""

Customer service was outstanding! The furnishings are a little outdated but the room was super clean and great pricing. I recommend this hotel as a very good value. Iqbal the owner is so sweet and kind.

Probably the best motel in the area for the money. I’ve been lucky to catch a good price for stay and for that money it’s a bomb (especially when compared to Seattle-Tacoma area). You, guys, doing good. Stuff was super friendly and helpful. BREAKFAST (I almost forgot about breakfasts in motels since covid time) is very good and pretty various. Parking is pretty big, without garbage people here. Room is neither modern nor outdated. Just a regular but clean and bed is comfy. Microwave, fridge, TV and A/C works well. Maybe I am lucky today but will definitely come back when needed.
