Food was good, but prices were excessive considering serving-size. The chicken and waffles consisted of 2 small chicken tenders and a mini waffle for $18. The chips and dip tray was only half full of chips so we asked for more immediately.
The food had no seasoning. We got the scramble and biscuits and gravy and shared the banana French toast. For just the two of us it was almost 80.00 for breakfast. The food was not what I thought it would be. Very disappointed. Oh and the biscuit and gravy had a sweet taste and was not savory.
Dear foodie readers fancy some brunch? …we were visiting and decided to try it out…we were warmly greeted by the hostess, and shown to our booth. Our extremely friendly server was prompt and took our orders…I ordered the scramble…it came warm, which was disappointing, because it was really good…the potatoes had a spice I couldn’t put my finger on, but it was the first time in my life I don’t devour them…but my biscuit on the other hand was absolutely fabulous….my boys loved the avocado toast and steak and eggs….did I mention our server was wonderful…these are easy fixes, try it out!
Great food. Friendly service. Local and family-owned restaurant. I will definitely come back. I recommend reserving a table beforehand as they tend to get pretty busy. Definitely worth visiting.
First time at this restaurant for brunch. We were seated outside and literally swarmed by flies. I started wondering if something had died in the weeds next to the table. We told the server and she said "that's what happens when you sit outside, Baby." Our food took much too long and we decided to leave. It took us 10-15 minutes to get our check. Twenty five dollars for two juices and a tea. My friend showed the manager pictures of the flies and he canceled the charge.
Our first time here and we really enjoyed it! Great food, atmosphere and seevice. The avocado toast was amazing.
This was one of the best brunch places I have ever been too. Friendly staff! They take reservations! The food was fabulous. The hardest part was deciding what to get. I settled on the Short Rib Benedict with a side of candied bacon. My wife got the breakfast sandwich along with some biscuits and gravy. They were all excellent choices and we'd recommend each highly. This is a must do for brunch in Louisville!
Where do I start...Amazing food, atmosphere and a great owner!! We had the veggie omelet and add the amazing house made chicken sausage and the banana bread french toast, which is also made in house, and was so moist and fresh. We also tried the candie bacon and the fresh pressed orange juice, also amazing!! The mimosas are to die for!! Run not walk and definitely try their brunch!!

The Fat Lamb is an absolute gem! If you go to one restaurant in Louisville, make it The Fat Lamb. The cocktails, wine and food are terrific across the board. Talk to Joe or Dane at the bar and they will steer you to what works for you every time. And

Fun place with good food. I also must give them kudos for not overcharging for their drinks/ beer. 5-7 bucks for a beer in a mid level steak house is more than reasonable. We brought my mother in to celebrate her 78 birthday and they brought her out
