Morgans Restaurant - New American restaurant in Miami - 28 NE 29th St, USA

I’ve been to Morgans plenty of times, but this review is solely based on the experience I had there today. I booked a table at the last minute for brunch for my mom’s birthday, and I was thoroughly impressed at how accommodating they were for my party. I booked the table for a group of 9, 6 kids included, so I expected things to be a little hectic, but it was quite the opposite. They placed us in a beautiful private room, which allowed everyone to be comfortable and for the kids to walk around and not be confined to their seats. The hostess, Kirmi (please forgive me if I spelled it wrong), was very calm and pleasant when seating us, so that set the tone of what to expect. Our server, Mario, was awesome as well. He was very kind, patient, and attentive and did an amazing job of communicating with us and making sure that all of our food was to us in a timely manner, which is necessary when dining with children. He also did a wonderful job of making my mom feel special for her birthday. The food goes without saying. Everything was delicious as always. I ordered the macaroni and cheese for the table and everyone was surprised at how yummy it was. The portion was very big, so we were all able to pass it around and get a fair share. Morgans went above and beyond today and my party and I were extremely satisfied from start to finish. Thank you!!

This used to be a great brunch spot in Miami but it looks like it’s going downhill. I arrived with a friend at 1pm for a Brunch reservation, we were standing in line at the side of the restaurant waiting for about 20 minutes in line, so don’t bother making a reservation because you have to wait in line anyway. It took 20-30 minutes of waiting in the parking lot to get a spot. It’s also filled with pot holes. After we got to the “front” of the line we waited another 10 minutes until someone came up to us (there is no host area) and seated us in a stuffy corner upstairs. The food portions are HUGE. The food isn’t horrible but it’s interesting. VERY big and greasy. It took 10-15 minutes for our waiter to acknowledge us and get us waters for the table. He never came by to ask if we needed anything and we rarely saw him so we went without salt and pepper for the meal, or we’d be waiting for another 20 minutes until an employee walked by. You will leave this place smelling like the inside of a kitchen unless you eat outside, where if it’s a little chilly, it’s unbearable and they do not have space heaters.

Made a reservation for brunch on a Saturday and it was packed when we got here! The decor was charming, food was great and service was wonderful. I had the Chunky Monkey smoothie and eggs Benedict with ham. The potatoes were perfectly cooked and seasoned. Everything was enjoyable and hope I can eat here again in the future!

Quick and easy even though it gets crowded sometimes. We went straight to the bar. All tables were taken but the bar was empty even though it is small. Food was good and fulfilling at a good price.

Dont let the long line fool you, they seat quickly. Our service and food were amazing the atmosphere was very laid back and fun. Lots of different groups, from friends to families with kids great place. Only con would be 1 bathroom for men and 1 for women.

Enjoy coming here for breakfast, especially on weekdays when it’s not too crowded. The wait can get long on weekends. Just about everything on the menu is good. Chicken & waffle sandwich is one of my favorites.

As local living in Miami this is not what cappuccino look like, the taste over roast and old coffee flavor, cup was dirty with lipstick, smell bad Greasy, place was super dirty, employees each one wearing differently and idk who’s employee who’s customer. Even though when I told the server about it she apologized, I asked for the check she’s said no all set but I still paid for it cuz it’s not hear fault, who ever mangment should pay attention, kitchen team was chilling while only 3 server on the floor.

Went to Morgan’s for dinner and it was outstanding! We started off with the calamari, cornbread and Caesar salad which were all fantastic. I couldn’t stop eating the cornbread. It was some of the best I have ever had. For my main I went with the steak and frites which were also tremendous. The service was excellent. I would highly recommend to anyone in the Miami area looking for a great meal!
