Morgan's - Bar in Cross Plains - 8640 W Mineral Point Rd, USA

It's a large bar with a big event area. Came here with my family to watch a band we enjoy. The bartender was nice and service was quick. Didn't try any food but they have a lot of burgers and typical fried food. Beer selection was resonable. We saw a lot of cops snaging what I assume were speeders as the speed changes quickly when you enter this little area and/or DUI's. We had a good experience here. Only complaint is the bathroom was a little gross and the sink has those push nobs that are timed... but they wouldn't stay down on their own... so you have to keep it pushed down with one hand.

Lively and festive bar atmosphere. Good food. Friendly bartenders with excellent service and a smile. Some decent tap beers. Plenty of liquor options. There are darts, touch tunes, and some other bar games. Definitely will be back.

This is our first visit to Morgan's. That's my wife. Wanted to try new bar. It was pleasantly not busy and we grabbed a seat at the bar. Drinks were made perfect priced spot on. They're bacon. Cheeseburger was one of the best cheeseburgers that I've had in many years. I would drive over an hour for this food and atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Delicious crispy coating and flaky fish with awesome crispy fries. Fast service! The whiskey old fashioned was excellent and muddled, as it should be. I’ll be back!

Deep fried, grilled Cajun and grilled garlic cod were excellent! Service was fantastic and so were the old fashioneds! Will definitely be back!

My wife and I have been planning to visit Morgan's for years. Except for the service we received from our waitress, our experience today was worse than our lowest possible expectations. We were the only two people sitting at a table. The other 8-10 patrons were at the bar watching TV. Shortly after we were seated, they started playing heavy metal music at high volume through a speaker directly above our table. We went ahead and ordered sandwiches anyway. I ordered a bacon peanut butter burger. Unable to hear each other speak, when the waitress returned to the table, we asked if they might turn the volume down a bit. The response was, "The people at the bar like it. And by the way, we're out of peanut butter." We canceled our food order and asked to close out our tab for just the drinks we had already been served. Within seconds after our waitress went back to the bar, the music stopped and the regulars at the bar went back to watching - and hearing - the TV. The lesson I took from this experience is that unless you are a regular, Morgan's is not interested in your patronage. Don't go to Morgan's.

Went for the first time to see Pat McCurdy and it was a lot or fun. Bartender Michelle was great and so was owner Nicole. We're definitely going to go back. Handmade tortilla chips for the nachos were great!
