Moreno's Tortillas & Grocery - Mexican grocery store in Harlingen - 1410 W Grant Ave, USA

I was craving barbacoa so I called them. I was glad to know that had some left upon seeing it was after 12 noontime .The man on the other end said that they had some left . I thought would be greasy and to my surprise it was not nor dry but, just right! It saw so good ! I loved the taste that I was still craving it the next day. Will definitely be back for more.I usually go to Garza’s but there’s always a long line and now that I tasted Moreno’s I will buy from them from now on.

The food is excellent and the employees are very friendly. For the best tasting Barbacoa this is the place to go. Breakfast tacos, lunch ect. Annie, Esmeralda, Alicia, Joe are so friendly and courteous you don't just want to go for the food but to have a friendly conversation and laugh with this wonderful staff of people. I highly recommend this place.

Great customer service yummy barbacoa

Late in the day on a Saturday, when everyone was out, they had a few pounds of regular barbacoa left. how was it you ask? Not bad at all, not fatty or dry at all. Definitely be back

Really bad service from the manager couldn't return my full money for 3 menudo's I bought that tasted like water and not cooked ....I usually go Alot they lost a good customer

Especial barbacoa is delicious! $14.00 a pound well worth it. The staff is so friendly and I can call and reserve my order and pick up at my convenience. 👍
