Place is very clean. Nice location. Bed is comfortable. Room is large. Has a mini fridge that cools mediocre. Works great for us. Only complaint isn’t the motels fault. We just have VERY disrespectful people sitting outside in the parking lot just below our room. I don’t even know if they have a room here or just using the parking lot. Playing music we can hear over our air conditioner. VERY VERY loud. Drunk and F this, F that over and over at 2:50 am. It’s the 2nd disrespectful group. The first were out til about 1:30. Haven’t gotten any sleep tonight.
The rooms were nice for dredge and working personnel, I stayed there for a day and a half the maids were very professional, the fridge in room 1 needs replaced I got food poisoning from my salad due to putting my food in the fridge and it never worked. Other than the fridge needing replaced it would have been a great place to stay. Please replace it.
Good motel room was better then some big name hotels clean and good true bra
This motel is exceedingly expensive, $118.34 for a room. The quality is near that of a motel 6 or lower. The beds are poor quality you can feel the mattress springs. The furniture consists of two cheap chairs and a small table. The tub drains poorly expect to shower in ankle deep water. The toilet will not flush even with repeated and vigorous plunging (yes they have plungers in the room). House keeping will unfortunately have to deal with the aftermath. Window curtains are see through. Just drive back to Golden Meadow or Cut Off and get a room at a better cheaper motel. I won't make this mistake again. The place has a nice rustic fish camp appearance and is convenient to Port Fourchon. But falls completely short of all else. If you are a sport fisherman who wants to pay high dollar for primitive conditions this is the lodging for you.
We Stay here every time!! Its great! No pets allowed which is a bummer for my cockateil but it has nice big rooms, room cleaning while you are away, a nice dining, convenient store, and docks to fish off of at night!! And its handicap accessible. Stay here!! Worth the money!!
Very friendly staff. Room was sorta clean. Several towels were stained badly. No curtains. No fridge. No shampoo.
The place is TOO expensive. Bed was the WORST ever. Felt ever spring. Water not too hot. Floor boards uneven. I have a fractures foot and hurt it several times. The toilet floor was replaced and not finished. The only game in town but has low standards. Sad. Could really be so much more if they cared. Did not go to restaurant because I thought that they would be the same.
It's cozy for a place to crash after work. They don't let you have ice as a common hotel courtesy. The fishermen have abused that issue. I stay in hotels most of the year as I work and having a bucket of ice for drinks is norm. Really sucks not having a couple cups of ice for your lunch box since you are basically living there all week. They expect you to buy a giant 20 lbs bag and waste more than 3\4 of it. The ice machine is gigantic and has a padlock on it.
