Mootz Pizzeria is the best Italian food you could ask for. My girlfriend and I adore coming here. BEST garlic knots in the world! Amazing pizza and pasta! The servers are friendly and engaging as well.

Went with some friends from out of town a few weeks back. Pizza was great we had a traditional pizza and sausage joint. My friends shared the salmon pasta. And enjoyed it. Prices were decent, has a bar and free parking attached. Waitress was extremely nice. Definitely will be back with my lady, great cook dinner date / chill with the homies vibe with good service.
First time here and it was delicious!! Not the typical Detroit style pizza more of a New York style pizza. But some many good options. You can buy them buy the slice through the carryout area as well. Really enjoyed the garlic knots. We sat outside which was very nice. Parking seemed to be available on the street. We got the beast of Burden this time and really liked it. We will definitely be back and will recommend to others to try!!
Stopped in for some Za last night and boy we were not disappointed! We were promptly seated upon arrival and sat in a booth. We had garlic knots and the funghi pizza. Both were so good! The garlic knots weren’t heavy at all, they were almost like puffy. The funghi pizza was well rounded and didnt have “too much going on”. A delicious pie! The house white wine was OK, but that can be the usual case with house wines. Thanks for a great meal Mootz!
Went out to go shopping on an early Sunday afternoon and nothing was open so we decided to get a bite to eat. We saw a sign on Woodward for Mootz's so we decided to go there. We were greeted and seated immediately by a very polite and personable woman. We ordered the bruschetta for an app. It was so bright and refreshing and the balsamic glaze was amazing. A perfect sweetness to compliment the fresh tomatoes. I had Cajun salmon Alfredo and he had pasta primavera with salmon added. Perfect portion sizes. The salmon was amazing and the Alfredo was surprisingly light. I would definitely recommend anyone who enjoys great food come here and I'll certainly return.
What have I’ve been waiting for? From the Garlic Knots to the Margherita Pizza, can you say Amazing! But don’t forget the SPICY MARGARITA!! WOW!! First time visiting Mootz this evening and it did not disappoint. A coworker recommended this place and I glad she did. I ended up selecting 10’ Mediterranean Pizza along with the Shrimp Scampi and honestly don’t know which one I enjoyed more!!!
Everything about this place was absolutely amazing. I mean from the top tier level of attention/ service, not only from the server but from the manager. The garlic knots are amazing and are a must try. The pizza was also delicious, and I love that they use the cupping pepperoni as well.
